Heavy!
I was really surprised how much heavier this container was compared to the original. I love my vitamix blender and was really sad when my original container cracked under the blade and leaked like a sieve. I was even more surprised how expensive it was to replace. Almost just tossed it and went with an Osterizer, BUT, I make my own nutmilks and I really wanted this blender. Also, to hand turn the blades on my original, it was really difficult, and I thought it was my vitamix motor that was making the jet airplane noise. NOPE, when I washed my new container, it was surprisingly quiet. I didn't have to use ear protection to turn it on. So it looks like I had bad blade assembly as well on my original.

I absolutely love my Vitamix but it was to tall to sit on my counter. This one is the perfect size so it's ready for smoothies every morning!!!

It’s an original Vitamix. Tamper included
My container broke after 7 years of use by accident. I used the tamper but the lid was not placed correctly, so it hit the blades and hit the container, breaking it. I choose to buy an original instead of a cheaper version despite the price because what’s the point of having a Vitamix if is not going to perform as it should… I love my Vitamix!!! Is the best hands down.

Back to the way it was.
Yes, it's grossly expensive but it made my blender look as when I first bought it. I saw other products that did not have the name brand and decided against it as they don't promise the quality that Vitamix offers.

Perfect replacement
Replacement for the one I accidentally broke after years of use. As a professional that pushes most kitchen equipment to the limit, vitamix products are extremely durable and almost indestructible in the home kitchen.

Why did I wait so long
I've been using the 48-oz container since I purchased my Explorian E310 Vitamix back in Oct'21 and finally bought the 64-oz Low-Profile container in Nov'22. Wow! Why did I wait so long!? I mostly use the Vitamix for making 48-oz green smoothies and the 64-oz provides enough room to fit everything and I don't have to worry about it all not fitting anymore and now there's no need to use the tamper. I love it! And now I have the 48-oz as a backup.

Start off on the lower setting first
Great blender but it took a bit of time to realize that you need to start off on a low setting, giving it time to blend properly before adjusting to a higher setting. Once I figured this out, it's a great blender (container) and works really well. Also, wash the container several times with vinegar and soap, then rinse well. I see other comments saying they had a bad experience with a chemical smell but the vinegar really worked well for me. After purchasing the blender, I noticed that the same one was $40 less expensive (from the same company) so I called Amazon. They sent me a free return label so I could return the original and purchase the less expensive one. Thanks Amazon!

Very Disappointed
I have had my Vitamix for a number of years but my daughter used the tamper without the lid and not surprisingly broke the tamper and cracked the jug. I decided to replace the jug and the tamper so the deal seemed like a good option. I was a bit wary of not purchasing directly from Vitamix although I was relieved to receive a very early delivery of the items and was encouraged by the fact that they arrived in a box labelled Vitamix with an authentic-looking instruction manual. On closer inspection, I noticed that there was a slight gap where the handle meets the jug at the top on one side. This would only get worse over time since I use this appliance every day sometimes multiple times. I then noticed the base of the handle did not meet at the joints either. The seal of the lid was good but the plastic already had marks on it which I thought might wipe away. I decided to get a replacement but Amazon only offers a refund. My account would be credited when they receive the product which is fine but when I print out the return address it is in the US, not the UK which is not fine at all. It is going to take ages to sort this out and I will be out of pocket if I buy one from Vitamix and this company fails to honour my refund. The old jug I had was bought from a kitchenware shop that is a Vitamix distributor and it was flawless. Either the quality has gone done substantially since my last purchase, this is not an authentic product or I have been unlucky. Note: The packaging was undamaged.

Does the job
Very good quality item, however it replaced an identical one whose base rusted out because water gets trapped and the material corroded, and the handle became loose. There's water trapped in this one too, so probably only a matter of time before it falls apart as well. Also, very expensive!

Great for Smoothies!
I am a smoothie-oholic. I make huge smoothies seven days a week. My wife calls them compost smoothies because every fruit or vegetable that is starting to go gets put in with all the other good stuff my smoothie has. I have used the Vitamix for a few years (which I absolutely love) but I found that the original container had problems at stage two of my smoothie process because it was so tall it had a problem sucking down stuff from the top of the container. I just made due all those years. Then I saw this container and I thought it might work better because it was shorter and wider. I also hoped that it would fit on the Vitamix on the counter because we have low cupboards. I was right on both accounts. This container has no problem creating a vortex that mixes the top through to the bottom and although it hasn't changed the consistency of my smoothies it has certainly made making them a whole lot easier and faster. And on top of that it is also easier to clean. I am so glad I made this purchase! If you love smoothies I bet you will too!

Exactly the replacement bowl we needed (cheaper than Vitamix website + extra cover)
We broke the original plastic bowl, so we needed only the bowl, but it comes with the soft black plastic bowl cover and hard transparent plastic hole cover. And it was cheaper than Vitamix own website. 48 hours delivery. Looks exactly and as solid as the original bowl. Perfect match. GREAT!
