It fits like a glove for Temple Board DUO!!!! No Need Velcro.

So I do have Temple Board Duo and was wondering how I can extend the power plug. I decided to give this Conntek Power Strip a shot. At first, I was nervous because it looked so big but after I took off the metal sides from Temple Board Duo, it was perfectly in. I was in complete surprise and awe for it. My pedalboard won't be complete without it. I have a high current power supply and the extension works fine with it. It also has a reset button on the side which is really great and helpful if I need to reset the state of all power supplies. It's a great purchase and I'm very satisfied with the performance.

Makes my pedalboard look sexy!

I needed some extra power on my pedalboard, so I’ve been using a regular power strip for the past 2 years. But I needed something not as bulky as what I had before, and I’d be damned, this is exactly what I was looking for. It works just fine, kinda wished that the power outlets were turned the other way and so I could plug my amp on it too, but hey, it still does what I wanted it to do. It’s all plastic made, which some of you might think it make the item feel flimsy and cheap, but it actually adds to its minimalistic charm in my opinion. Most importantly, I love the face that I can detach my power cable, kinda wish it came with one, but I hade one already and so that worked out too! I definitely recommend it if you’re building a pedalboard for your guitar or bass!

Suitable small switchable power strip w/removable power cord

This is one of the few power strips I could find that feature a removable power cord. I would have preferred a metal case, as opposed to the plastic case, and the reset button might have been positioned on the top of the unit, next to the power switch. Positioned on the side as it is, gets in the way to some degree. But it has been dependable for the short time I've been using it, and I really needed the removable power cord for ease in packing the unit up in my case. I took off a point for the plastic case and position of the reset switch, ending up with a 4 star rating.

Good, but could've been better.

I got this to place on my guitar effect pedal board beacause it was small and has a power cord socket instead of a fixed cord so I could pick my own length of power cord and remove it when not in use. That part is great, and I am happy with the overall quality. It is made of plastic, but is feels very sturdy. My only complain is with the spacing of the outlets and the location of the power switch. I would've liked the spacing a bit wider to accomodate AC adpators/power supplies. And the switch is a little close to the outlet. Even with my smallest power supply plugged in next to it, there is a tendency for the power supply to bump the switch and cause it so momentarily turn off. Pros: Small & light Sturdy Power cord socket for removeable cord Cons: Tight spacing on outlets Power switch too close to outlet.

Nice Strip with Detachable Cord for Small Projects

This is a nice design for a compact project. The detachable cord feature was the main selling point. One gripe was the exposed power switch. If you have any modern electrical device with a wall wart style adapter it can bump into the power switch and switch it off. I fabricated a bumper to block the power switch from getting powered off inadvertently. It would have been a better design to recess the switch into the strip.

What a great idea!

Had a very special instance where I needed an additional power outlet and could not run a new AC connection easily. One of the pieces of equipment had an I.E.C. power cord and I was able to plug this unit in and and get 2 additional power outlets. It saved me lots of time and trouble!

I bought this because I wanted a power strip with a detachable power cord. It works well for that purpose, with the following caveats: 1) it does not come with a power cord 2) the sockets are too close to allow them to plug in power adapters (transformer plugs) - I could only use two of the sockets when using transformer plugs. If you already have a desktop computer power cord, and you need only three outlets (non-transformer plug) then this is great. They don't seem to have any models with more that three outlets. But of course, you can always add another power strip that plugs into this one and still use the detachable cord feature. No connection to seller or manufacturer except as a buyer on Amazon.

Does not come with a power cord. Has a C14 (male) plug.

Does exactly what I bought it for! I also like the C14 plug in the end vs a short cord dangling, like you often get with power strips!
