Much more difficult than it appears
This takes some time to develop the required skills. Not really a suitable leisure time activity for an occasional family get-together. The grandkids lose interest quickly

Does Not Meet Advertised Description or Expectations
Franklin Sports Disc Golf 3 Pack INCLUDES (3) tournament style discs (1) RT Night Owl - 167G putter disc for maximum accuracy (1) RT Sparrow - 160G mid-range disc engineered for maximum stability (1) RT Albatross - 160G driver disc engineered for maximum distance BUILT for maximum fun! Bought two sets for me and wife. Got them today. When inspecting one set I noticed the profiles were identical, just different colors and logos. The weights seemed to be the same, so I weighed them. Results: Putter – Orange. Printed weight is 167 grams, actual weight is 158 grams. Mid-Range – White. Printed weight is 160 grams, actual weight is 159 grams. Driver – Blue. Printed weight is 160 grams, actual weight is 158 grams. I inspected the second set. Profiles are identical, colors and logos the same, weights are within one gram of the first set’s actual weight. My conclusion after comparing two sets of discs? All six discs are the same profile and the same weight. There is no difference in the discs except the color and logo. Very disappointed. Will now return.

Good price
Adequate for beginners with a great price. These discs are harder plastic than more expensive discs. I actually broke the putter in 2. The other 2 are still usable even though they have taken beating.

Beginner set for sure
Plastic is harder than any of the other beginner set discs I have used They are not terribly forgiving if you have a bad release. The Putter is MONEY from 30 feet in.

only 3 come with the game, need to buy extras, for several players.
My grandchildren and I plat Disk Golf, I bought extra disc to have enough to play with. they are the same as what comes with the game. We like playing the game and with extra disc it's more fun.

Great beginner set
This is a great beginner set, my needs are just to get back into the hobby and this set did well pn the course and the price was easy to get bsck into the sport.

Not bad
Great starter kit, but the quality is lacking. They bang up easy and i had some melting happen during a heat wave. More my fault for leaving them in the car, but the scratches and dents from playing happened quiclkly. Recently upgraded my discs.

A must buy for first timers
My friend brought over a net and discs for me to try as I have never played before. I loved it. So I bought these discs/frisbees to go try out on a course. They were awesome. I would recommend to not read or believe any negative reviews. The seller will correct it and make it right. These discs do exactly what is needed. Of course there are better discs available but for the price to try out the sport before investing the money, this set is a must try. This set was my absolute confirmation to continue. And it is the best set to purchase if you decide not to continue. They even hold up in a friendly competition. If you are reading this and want to try disc golf, just do yourself the favor and save time looking and buy this set. You will not be disappointed. After buying this set if you decide you love it then there's lots of local shops that will guide you in the right direction from there.

Just getting into disc-golf? Cheap and great option!
My buddies just got into disc golf. There is a free course in a park nearby. It really sucks to share discs with a few extra people. Cheap option. The discs are in good quality. All you really need to get started! Buy and get out there!!

I have nove bought a nicer disc for my driver but still use the mid range and putter from this set. Perfect for those starting out
