A good reliable tape measurer.
This tape measurer is reliable and easy to use. I use it quite a bit and is a good value. The only negative for some people might the weight. It is heavy for its size but I think this heavy protective case will help make it last for years to come.

About time but just 1 problem
4 star really though I have wood but I do hvac and guess what b missing a pair of lousy magnets on end of tape to help me measure large spans because I'm usually working alone an magnet on end of tape would help grab one side of ducting instead of folding on me and I have to waste 10 min trying to get 14 foot span 30 feet in air the width of blade helps make up for that in as longer spans can b measured before tape reaches maximum draw and collapses like my 10 inch tape after multiple in-depth measurements and 22 hr of the same measurement. From multiple measurements Tape is also very lite I carry on pant pocket an feel no weight also blade nice size numbers for us old people 55 yrs and also no one else has is wide pocket clip less chance of ripping pocket where I carry tape will order more he'll ya

Heavy and with small nice features
I love a tool that feels substantial and this definitely feels that way. Feels well made and has a bunch of nice little features that most cheaper measuring tapes don't have. It's worked well for the few projects I've used it for and doesn't look like it's slowing down.

Love that is built (I think) in USA
Love that is built (I think) in USA. Purchased it but my nephew let the tape retract without using his thumb to stop the impact and the tape snapped in half. I loved it because it clearly marked each measurement down to the eighth of an inch. It was fat and bright. I could easily find it in my cluttered garage. The problem is not the good things obviously. The problem two fold: The durability and lastly, the lack of replacement parts. Let's talk about durability. Durability is important because on the job I gotta be able to depend on my gear taking a beating. Some jobs take me away from my shop. How far would I get in construction if I didn't have a tape measure? So, the first tape snapped at the end. With the second, the tape spring went whimpy and bc would not retract 5' from completely closing. I called Komelon and talked with Bob or Dave?? But was surprised that he told me that there was no replacement tape. Ok, not a setback but an opportunity...I took out the new tape from Komelon I just got with the whimpy spring and took out the good tape and replaced my broken tape. Problem solved. Final thoughts. I would pay a bit more for a better quality tape with a reputation of having good service and support. Replacement parts are important to me personally as I love fixing my broken stuff. I am a bit of a miser and much of the time construction tools are expensive. So, if I can fix what gets broken the better. I will say Komelon was pleasant, friendly, but unhelpful to help me. Do your homework and read reviews when you go to buy a good tape measure. Looks like I will be looking for a new tape soon too. Cheers, I hope this helped

Best Tape Measuer Ever Owned
I wrote this same review on the 16' version. I've owned hundreds of tape measures, all brands and kinds. These Komelon Powerblade II tape measures are the best, bar none. Readable, durable, with a great deal of attention paid to the durability and quality of the hook - it's done well. I would like the width of the case to be a bit narrower, but that's just a personal preference. This is a quality product worth every penny, and it will infuriate you over the amount of money you spent on the name brand ones.

Heavy and bulky
Very heavy and bulky to attach to your belt or put in a pouch. Tape seems to be too flexible for such a wide tape. Do not think it will be very durable.

Really sturdy and readable measuring tape
First time buying a Komelon tape,I usually buy Dewalt or Ridgid but after reading some reviews I decided to give them a try.As good or even better in some areas than the brand name brands.Durable rubber body, smooth locking switch, very large markings for those eye sight may not be perfect.Double sided markings that is easy to read in bright light or dim areas.Snaps back fast and has reach about 4 meters before it bends. Its a bit heavy and not a "small" tape so those wanting one like that better try another tape.

Worst tape measure
One of the worst tape measures I’ve ever bought!!! Lasted less then a month then started jamming up, stand outs is horrible at 8ft. Save your money and buy a fat max tape
