Plates fell off wall.

I have used and loved Command Strip products for years and have always been pleased. These strips did not work, not sure if the product was old but after preparation of the wall as per instructions and as I always do, I used these to hang my Grandmother’s Christmas collection plates. These were well within the weight limit of the hanger. Small ceramic plates weighing 6 ounces each. The strips did not peel as they usually do and didn’t feel as sticky, but I thought “OK, maybe a new improved sticky” and I left them in place for 24 hours prior to hanging anything on them. Within an hour, one plate had fallen off the wall and broken, which I had to replace at a cost of $25. And shortly thereafter another plate fell, but fortunately didn’t break, and within a day, two more had fallen off the wall. Luckily also not breaking. I have since removed all of these and replaced with nail hangers and alternate Command strips which have worked just fine. I think these are old.
