Great 5????

Worth the price. Have bought these for many years. Avid outdoorsman my whole life. Camp more in a year than most people in there life. I test my gear. If it doesn't perform well I don't use it. Ive used these for many years and they hold up. My only gripe is the button. Wish they came with a xtra one. At 50$ I don't think it would hurt them much but that's picky. I love this gear and columbia in general rarely disappoints. Size 34 fit is same every time. UA could learn a lesson in that respect.

Comfortable and inseam longer than expected, which is good for me.

These pants fit nicely. I was worried they might not be long enough ( I have a 34" inseam). These were plenty long enough. I am 6'2" 175lbs with a 34 inch waist and 34 inch inseam. Perfect fit for my build, but ample room for larger waist or smaller waist.

Comfortable and Quick Drying

They all laughed when I wore my hiking pants to a concert. But nobody was laughing when we got caught in the rain, and they bore witness to the full fury of my pants' OMNI-WICK QUICK DRYING TECHNOLOGY. The pants make a swishing noise a bit when you walk, but I don't notice it all that often.

Shorts to pants installation.

The pants fit well and were lite weight, but also water and wind resistant. The only problem that I encountered was replacing the leg pieces back on the shorts. It would be difficult in the middle of hiking as I had to lay shorts down flat to do it correctly. I'm not saying it couldn't be done, but I think it would difficult for the person wearing the shorts to do it alone without taking them off.

Great summer pants.

I have several pairs of these pants, they wear very well and fit great. Excellent for summer with the zip off legs. Although they are far from cheap, they wear very well with no color change or any other issues. Sizes are true as well, unlike over seas items.

Functional, comfortable, look great

Excellent product. Very comfortable. Excellent fit. Perfect for hiking on cool days. Very light yet warm enough for hiking to below zero. This is my third pair. Strangely, crotch area stitching tore on both first two pairs but Columbia covered their replacement through warranty.

Great pants, but not that durable, and Columbia's Warranty sucks!

Amazing pants for travelling, lightweight and comfortable. I wish the belt loops were a bit bigger, your belt choice is limited due to how small they are. 2 of the exterior pocket stitches failed, resulting in me losing a few things. I was able to have them repaired locally for 10-15$, but even when I sent the receipt in to Columbia, they never paid. (they'll reimburse up to 35$, and you have to waste a lot of time sending photos, and calling/replying to get this) They need to stand by their product more. I may consider buying Columbia in the future, but I'll probably look at other outdoor brands and research my purchases better in the future.

A good product by Columbia

It's a good trouser for all the purpose and material used is very comfortable and feels good when you are wearing it. Best part is detachable leg part to convert it as shorts and it is very easy to put on and put off. I have used it for couple of day hikes so far and it is very comfortable and breathable and you get enough room for movements. I love to wear it most of the time and planning to order another pair with different color. Full marks to Columbia for making such quality product and good delivery by Amazon. Yet to test it for long treks and use for some months to check its durability.
