Not for a small dog

This collar seems sturdy. It was way too heavy for my small dog. I thought It would work but ended up donating it to the dog shelter. I’m sure they can use it.

Great collar for a young dog

We got this collar for the handle to easily stop and redirect a large puppy. We love it. The handle makes it so easy to disconnect the lead and move inside without yanking on her neck. She's worn it swimming and its held up well.

Bungee is super flimsy

I use this collar for my service dog since he is to stay close to me and does not pull. It is very nice to used instead of dropping a leash and having it dangle on the ground since it just retracts and is back at his neck. But it is very cheaply made so if you have a dog that pulls at all it would probably break.

Sturdy collar with a handle

I really like the design of this collar, the bungee handle was exactly what I was looking for. It works great for my medium sized German Shepard mix. Well-made, sturdy material and a really great price.

Disappointing...

I’m actually really disappointed in this product. I bought it for the handle/leash. Our pup likes to bolt out the door so I thought having a handle like this would make it easier to hold on to him. Within a week the elastic was completely shot. I decided to cut the handle off and keep the collar because as collars go it’s a nice sturdy one and for $7.50 it was worth keeping.

It was great at First.

I loved this product at 1st, but after about a month the elastic didn’t retract as much.

Heavy duty collar, excellent

This is a seriously heavy and heavy duty collar! My lab/border collie mix is reactive and shy, and this is a great collar for him. If I need to grab him close, I can grab the handle instead of trying to wrap a leash around my hand or grab him directly by the collar which he really doesn't like. He doesn't seem to mind when I grab the handle on this. It is very thick and heavy - my dog is 45lbs and I would imagine on a smaller dog it could be too much. My dog has a 16" neck which is right in the middle of the sizing for the medium, and it fits him well. I've seen other collars of this style that the pull-out is a flexi-style, which I am not a fan of. This is a strong sturdy bungee. We are also starting dock diving training and this works well for that, when I need to walk him to the back of the dock.

Using handle requires choking your dog

I thought this was an interesting concept and I was hoping for something along the lines of a Rad Dog collar/leash. This collar uses elastic to attach the handle so any time you need to use the handle you are basically choking your dog as the elastic requires force against their throat to extend. So any time I see something I want to have control over my dog for I'm going to choke her? That's going to have some terrible behavior impacts. No thanks.

Gute Grundidee, Umsetzung leider mangelhaft

An sich ist das Halsband toll. Die integrierte "Leine" ist allerdings keine richtige Leine, sondern ein Griff an Gummibändern und lässt sich ca. 15 cm herausziehen. Von der Grundidee wirklich gut und praktisch - leider sind die Gummibänder nach nicht mal 8 Wochen Nutzung (und dies nicht mal täglich) derart ausgeleiert, dass sich das Gummi nicht mehr vollständig einzieht und der Griff dadurch nicht mehr komplett am Halsband anliegt. Er hängt nun lose mehrere cm heraus, was von unserer Hündin als sehr störend empfunden wird. Schade, dass die Qualität hier nicht besser ist. Ich hätte volle 5 Sterne gegeben, wenn die Funktionalität nicht so schnell schon nachgelassen hätte. So sind es noch 3 Sterne, denn als normales Halsband erfüllt das Ganze ja noch seinen Zweck, wenn man die Gummibänder und den Griff abschneidet.

El collar en si, sirve al fin el resorte no

El collar funciona en cuanto a resistencia y seguridad de que no se va a safar o algo parecido, sin embargo el resorte pierde eficacia y queda como una tripa colgando, por lo que decidí cortarlo con la tijera , quedando solo el collar.
