Great size!
While I have a big kitchen sink, this drainer doesn’t take much room & yet is very functional for just the two of us!

Great Purchase Low Profile and Sturdy
ClosetMaid 3921 Over The Sink Drainer after many many many years I just purchased this same item again to replace the old one. Love this sink drainer design with a small profile floating sink drainer that will not take up valuable counter space. If Closet Maid keeps this model active I will keep purchases as needed every 10+ years (with normal use + drying & cleaning off the unit between uses). Positives: Constructed with sturdy materials. The entire unit is coated with rubber type coating to help prevent rusting and repel water. Low profile sits suspended in the sink. It can be used on a countertop or floating inside a sink. Negative: After many many years of use the rubber coating will start to crack and shrink due to age and the unit at that time will begin to rust when exposed to water. Do not put any item that is still super hot in the unit that might corrupt, warp or melt the rubber coating. This is a sink drainer better suited for singles and with smaller families if you plan on using this on daily basis for meal ware. The design does not allow for a built in utensils drainer, however Amazon has some great options to add an additonal utensil drain basket to this type of unit. Would not recommend submerging this unit for long period of time under water. If you plan on using this on a counter top I would suggest purchasing some external rubber feet for the unit to protect the surface, however if you are using this as a floating unit inside the sink this will not be an issue. The handles do not telescope or conform, so read the dimensions carefully to make sure the unit will fit your sink dimensions.

This Item Appears to be exactly the same as my old one that lasted 15 years or more.

Just what we needed
We had something similar, but something happened to it. I don't remember now what. We received this item. It fits great in our double sink and now that our dishwasher is broken, we use it everyday since we are washing dishing by hand. It is a great product even if you don't have to wash by hand. We've had it over a year now and no problems.

Fits half-sink perfectly
This drainer was purchased to replace my old one, manufactured by a different company. This drainer is well made and fits my half-sink. I would give it five stars if it were two inches deeper like my old one. I, also, wish it had a clip-on cup to place utensils to drain. I'm sure I will get a lot of use out of it and I do not hesitate to recommend it.

Too long
Lip is just a smidge too long - it bumps into my RO spiket so it doesn't fit flush in my sink. I still use it because the design works well for my needs.

I do not like the folding support arms, as they do just that every time you move it. I probably should have purchased a stainless steel or vinyl covered like I had previously.

Great little dish rack!
Bought this to replace a very large white plastic and stainless steel countertop Kitchenaid drying rack. We have a pretty decent size kitchen but this thing was taking up a huge amount of counter space. I looked at a lot of different replacement options. There are some drying racks that you are able to just set in your sink -I am not sure how the items are supposed to drain properly, I could see that unit getting dirty with standing water stains very fast. Saw this unit and it had great reviews. I was nervous about the small size, but thought I would give it a try. First off, it is quite small. Our old rack was probably three times the width. However, it is deep and if you stack dishes right you can fit a lot in here. It has held two cookie sheets, a large glass mixing bowl, a smaller bowl, and myriad utensils at once. Any water drainage goes right down your drain!! No dishmat to constantly clean or replace. The best part is that it has freed up about three feet of my counter space!! I could see this unit not working so well for a large family, but for my husband and I, it is just fine. Anything truly too large to fit I can dry by hand. The only item so far that didn't fit is our large wok. I have fit a 5 qt dutch oven in there no problem. It also feels sturdy, and I think it will last me a long time.

Well made, looks great and holds a lot.
This dish rack is compact, sturdy and easy to clean. It hold quite a lot of dishes too. It’s great if you have very limited counter space.

Good Product
This is a good product but I definitely feel I overpaid for it, however, that being said it works for my needs. Fits my sink well. I wish it came with a separate silverware attachment but I had one left from my old drainer and attached it to. Overall the drainer works well for our needs.

I wish I had seen this dandy dish drainer years ago! For quick clean-ups it's just great, and I like being able to rinse dishes easily in the same side of the sink. My only wish is that they would have included a small little holder that clipped on for those stray coffee spoons, etc. to rest in. Silverware falls right through much of the time. I also really like that it has feet attached. Sometimes I use it on the counter with a towel under it. Just perfect to dry glasses in! Thank you for a very sturdy, nice looking drainer.
