It Works!!!
I had elbow surgery almost a year ago to relieve a pinched nerve that caused my pinky to be very weak. I did physical therapy and various rehab work, but it was still kind of weak. I bought this mechanism because it strengthens the fingers as you pull your fingers back. There are numerous gadgets that help tighten your grip, this strengthens the opposing muscles that get neglected. Don't let the tiny bands fool you. I thought it would be a piece of cake, but after 6 or 7 reps my tendons and fingers got very tired. This is a great workout. The layout of it, the contours, the adjustable Velcro wrist strips all work well. I would recommend it for any kind of finger strengthening.

Better tool for those undergoing rehab than training
The tension is very low, and the thumb is ridiculously so, even at higher levels. I would have returned it to be honest but could not find the time. Thats not to say this would be a bad tool for those who have exceptionally weak hands or who are undergoing rehab, but for hand training i find rubber bands work better with higher tension.

NOT For Large Hands or Lean Wallets
I read some reviews about how this Exerciser may help with Carpal Tunnel pain and decided to spend the money. I followed the instructions to the "T" and am now sharing my own personal views and experience. If you have large hands (meaning wide and long fingers) this device is not for you. The rubber straps are really made for folks with shorter fingers and will snap after a dozen uses or so. The part that fits in the palm is also small and tight for me and the Velcro strap barely fits around my wrist. My hands are large but not giant (I can "palm" a basketball 1 out of 10 times). The straps will have to be replaced often in my case and I'm just not willing to do that and would rather obtain another exercise device that will handle the larger hands and wrists without constantly breaking "down." Bah, Humbug. This thing made me grouchy and I'm not normally that way. A small disclosure to anyone with large hands would have been appreciated.

Nope.
This is a real brand and not some knockoff. However, there is no large or XL option and the resistance bands are only appropriate for the sm-medium size offered. That's not to say this won't work for small hands. The problem is there is no option for large hands. I work with my hands and fractured my 5th metacarpal throwing slightly too hard of a punch. This required surgery with a lengthy recovery to release adhesions while being careful not to refracture the bone. I was looking for something to help with extensor rehab. This unfortunately just isn't it. I may just go with a 1 kg weight on a string attached to the tip of my pinky. I will say that ultrasound therapy ($850 machine) has been extremely helpful for loosening adhesions. The forearm roller ($80 Armaid) has been great at dealing with pump from muscles stuck inside a cast for so long.

My Second One
So I can work on both hands simultaneously. The small bands tor the ring and little finger of one hand becomes the index and middle finger of the other. Who has time to switch every time? I questioned the bands were too brittle even the first use when I placed the order for all the big bands with the staff, I was reminded that the instruction did say to stretch a little before use. I use this regularly to relieve the stress because I use my mouse all the time at work. I wish I had this or something when I endured a tennis elbow for 6+ months few years ago.

Probably good for rehab. Not so much for strength.
Not to much resistance. This may be great for rehabbing from an injury but in terms of tring to get your finger extension stronger it is lacking. Not enough resistance. Though ergonomically it fits greats.

Good Product
I love the device. It is helping me to build and strengthen my forearm muscles and making my pimp hand strong. So watch out hoes! My onlu concern would be the bands. I hope they last or come in a thicker resistance. I started off doing a hundred reps per hand on the middle row but now am up to 120 feeling the burn. Ooh Yeeea!

I have arthritis in both hands these items have been so helpful to release some pain.
I use the green and orange ring right now. My hands are getting stronger and I can squeeze the orange ring a little. I like how they are different resistance, I am very please with them
