Appearance and dishwasher safe

The pasta bowls look like they are straight from Italy but from China. They are very attractive and will hold plenty of pasta. I gave them to my son who loves to cook for a birthday gift.

Tuscan plates

We previously bought some Tuscan-themed dinnerware by the same company. We had eight plates but only four saucers and pasta bowls. We needed more bowls. I went to Amazon and found these on sale. They are not actually the same series as what we earlier bought but they looked very similar. I could have bought the exact pattern but these matched well and were nicer. My wife thinks they go well with what we already bought and look nicer. You would never know they're not of the same series because the Tuscan series has various patterns.

Beautiful design and very durable

It was a gift and the recepient was extremely satisfied. The dishes were for pasta. Would like to purchase the Large Pasta Bowl to match.

"Tuscan View?" made in China

I purchased these bowls nearly 5 years ago, use them regularly and have been quite satisfied with them. The bowls are advertised as 9-1/2" but they are only 8-7/8" in diameter and the height is 1-3/4". That was smaller than I wanted so I purchased other bowls that have are larger. The seller was quite clever in their choice of words in describing the bowls as "Certified International TUSCAN VIEW" bowls. Certified International is a company located in California that sells tableware. I got the impression that there was an International Certification of some sort on these bowls as being authentic Italian. The motif on the bowls is being described by the seller as a Tuscan VIEW, to give one the impression that they are Made in Italy. I find this similar to the French's yellow mustard that displays in very large letters at the top of their 20oz bottle, "40% More" and then in small letters, "than our 14oz size." This is very clever advertising that is done to make one think that they are getting 40% more for free. Same here with the Tuscan View description. Actually, the design is not a view at all but just a wine glass and grapes and I must say that it is quite attractive. For that matter it could be a French, Spanish, Californian, etc. view. The bowls are not Tuscan or Italian made, they are made in China, So if you are looking for authentic made in Italy bowls you'll have to look elsewhere. That aside the bowls are very nice and have given me 5 years of use without any cracks.

Amazing dishes

I waited a long time to purchase these dishes but I finally ordered them & they are just amazing. The artistry on this pasta bowls is outstanding. Sorry I waited so long to purchase. Would make a great gift for a pasta lover!

We have had this pattern for quite some time. We broke 3 of our bowls during a dog calamity. No one's fault, but the bowls and concrete weren't a good match. This pattern is Tuscan and we have this and another one of the patterns. They are very similar and provide a nice contrast with each other. The bowls are a tiny bit smaller than our current bowls and it's fine with us. Many times we have a salad, soup, or pasta and the smaller bowl just means a bit smaller portion size. Nothing wrong with that!
