Great look

Great looking base. Had to replace it the first time due to damaged in the box. Reordered because it was exactly what I was looking for. Screwing the wheels in were not the best but I was determined since I wanted it. Wood ended of splitting like im assuming happened to the previous one. Wheels have me worried now but we will see. Still love it.

This is really sturdy and good looking but don’t be fooled that it’s easy to put the wheels on. The tool is tiny and the cement is tough but perseverance prevailed after two days and I finally got those suckers in????????

Nice but broken during shipping

This umbrella stand would have been a 5-star item if it hadn't arrived broken. The good... It's a nice size and weight. The teak was dry and a little discolored. It obviously isn't top quality teak, but a little teak oil at least improved the look of it. The bad.... This item was poorly packaged. There wasn't any protection other than the standard cardboard box. As a result, it took a beating during shipping. The cement foundation under the wood was cracked and the teak wood all around the edges was split from the corners to the middle. I should have returned it, but I needed it for an event. Luckily my husband was able to the wood back together for the use at the event. I don't know if the repair will hold up to the weather, so the longevity of the stand might be short. This is what I get for buying an item that wasn't shipped directly from Amazon.

Great just hard to assemble

Really love this, so much so that I bought a 2nd one. The wheels make it easy to move for the sun. It's just hard to assemble the wheels. Otherwise great look and quality

Looks good. Pain to put together.

You would think it would be simple to pop four wheels on, but the little tool is terrible and it took forever. The look great though! UPDATE: still look great. Get lots of compliments. Easy to roll around. WITHSTANDS THE WIND much better than my other standard umbrella stands. Has not blown over this far.

Looks nice, but not well made

The teak looks nice, as does the stainless post. The casters are a nice idea, but they just screw directly into the concrete, which crumbles. Would have been better to have an embedded metal sleeve in the concrete. (Couldn't get one of the casters in at all.) The casters also were rusted.

Heavy, but easily movable

We are pleased with this teak base that is a solid support for our 9 foot wide umbrella. It is a surprisingly heavier base than it looks like it might be with the wood, but this is great to keep the umbrella straight and sturdy. without moving in light winds. For relocating, it rolls easily on our concrete patio.

Looks nice But........

Marginal quality, came with a crack on one of the wood side pieces. Chrome umbrella pole is thin with a cross threaded tightening knob that broke as I attempted to remove it. Although the description does reference acacia wood, one would initially think this is teak from the title. The box contains a description that it is "teak color". Plastic pole adapter broke within five minutes. Looks decent but component quality is lacking. Too much hassle to return so will use it for a while.
