Good Quality - Just Not Suitable for Use In 5 Gallon Buckets
Overall this appears to be a well constructed product with quality materials. Unfortunately, however, it did not meet my usage needs as it will not fit within a typical 5 gallon bucket (brush is too wide.) I will return this and continue shopping for a similar quality product more suited to my needs.

Quality
I have been through the "Vehicle Cleaning Kit" scenario before, you know the "Circle Head" cloth on the plastic "Disc" that always falls off or the cinch string breaks and the terry cloth wash pad falls off; Well......... not this one, Chemical guys made a quality piece, and the handle is quality aluminum, not the "beer can" thick aluminum as the other guys. The 18"w Chenille Microfiber Car Wash Mopwide pad works well and is a quality pad, and has a velcro closure and a hanging tab.

Was what expected. The only (very) minor issue, you need to keep tightening the extension rod when fully extended.

I like the width of this
I don't think this one is quite up to "Chemical Guys Quality" yet. First, I like the width of this, washing a 40' painted motor home, takes a lot of time and this device speeds things up over my other tools. I'm also happy with the material, with both soft micro-fiber and the frilly fringe do a good job as does the 3-piece telescoping pole; that's where I think they did will with this. Here's my gripes on it: 1. The swivel head has too much freedom, I'm chasing the thing and contorting it to get the head to do what I want. Also, there's no good way to press to 'scrub' when it's at full length because there's too much give in the joint. When I'm cleaning the front nose of my 13' rig, covered in bugs, I need something that will allow me to be more aggressive than waving a limp noodle at it! -Take a look at a dyson stick vaccum or something like that and duplicate it, please!! 2. The pole screws into the swivel mount. I'm constantly re-tightening it because of #1. 3. The center "substrate" has no padding. I would much prefer something inside this that doesn't allow the mitt to hang slack and will press it up against the object being cleaned. I have spent a lot of money on CG products and expected this to be perfect as they always deliver an exceptional product, whether it be towels, polishes or soaps. I just wish this one had lived up to my expectations. I will continue to use it, however, I'll likely modify it to make it suit my needs.

Great for flat surfaces
I bought this mop to wash my 5th wheel trailer. I had a years worth of exposure to a very wet winter on the rig and this mop helped to get it clean. I wish there was a sponge under the mop head to get help it into irregular surfaces, a modification I'll play with. The pole could be longer, like extendable to 8 feet. Other than those issues this is a great product. The mop base swivels in all directions and takes some mental acuity to manipulate, but after a brief learning curve; it worked great on the flat surfaces of my rig. Not so great on the curved surfaces of my truck, but doing the roof and tonneau cover was a breeze without a step ladder.

Bought it for the tool, liquid leaked through the protective wrap
The liquid soap that shipped with the “mop” and handle leaked through the protective wrap. This created a mess in the box. However, since I ordered it for the tool no foul to me after hosing it all off.

Not as good as I expected.
Turns when you are washing vehicle, so you don’t get to use whole surface. Pole keeps unlocking and collapsing.

It’s a dud.
It’s too weak and flimsy once wet and in all honesty is only useful for washing the roof of my truck. The head flops around like a wet noodle and is impossible to navigate the thing anywhere when washing the side of the vehicle. The microfiber cloth isn’t quite big enough either so you’d better be careful or you will scratch your vehicle. It’s definitely not worth the money. Surprisingly bad from a company as reputable as Chemical Guys.
