Missing Lock Washers but Well Designed & Built, but Timely to Assemble
This arrives as a smaller-than-expected box, extremely well-packed, double-layered box. The box is extremely heavy and even with two people requires some effort to slide/roll the box from the front porch to inside to unpack and assemble. Upon opening the two boxes (double-layered), I first noticed how well packaged everything was. Conveniently the installation manual is right on the top. The parts themselves are not labeled but in nearly all cases the part was identifiable from pictures in the installation manual. The second thing I noticed was the the parts needed for Step #1 in the installation manual were literally packaged underneath everything at the bottom of the box. It's hard to knock a star off for something like this, considering how well packaged the entire product was. But it sure was a pain to have to pull all 88 pounds worth of parts out of the box, just to pull out the two pieces at the bottom for step 1. I'd consider myself fairly handy and good with instructions. I only made one small mistake on step #1 where I didn't ensure the "Holes on Leg Cross Bars" were facing inward. Four unscrews later, it was fixed. Oddly, I did get about halfway through the install and I ran out of 1/4" lock washers. The package said there were supposed to be 33 of these. Unlike other reviewers my parts container was still intact and definitely was not punctured prior to me starting assembly. I was super-careful not to lose any screws or washers and I double checked everywhere I installed them on to make sure I didn't accidentally double them up. According to the remaining installation steps, I was supposed to have 12 more of these lock washers. Searching lock washer through the reviews here, it seems missing 1/4" lock washers is a common theme and most people write it off as them making a mistake and losing some. I'm confident these were missing and I didn't lose any. Fortunately, these are dirt cheap and easily painted with high-temp paint. But for a $200 grill you would expect all the parts needed for assembly to be included consistently. The other thing is the wording on the package of screws to tell you the name of each item (1/4-20X1/2" Bolt) doesn't line up with the installation instructions("Hex Bolt"). Almost like they outsourced to another company to provide the screws and they didn't quite get the names right. But with a little studying of the manual it's not difficult to figure out which screw/part the instructions is referring to. I did find the wheels to be abysmally low quality for such a great grill. I also own a Char-Griller smoker for about 8 years, and can tell you the wheels are about as low quality as it gets. Consider that my smoker uses the exact same wheels and developed a "flat tire" after just a couple years of outdoor cement patio use. Best guess is they melted/warped in the Florida sun. The thought of me having to change the wheel on an 88lb grill sent me to my local farm/tractor supply brick & mortar with the provided axle and wheel to find another wheel. I found that the air-filled wheels all were all consistently across brands about 1/4" taller than the original wheel (too tall). But I found hard/heavy 8" plastic wheels (not air filled) were only about 1/8" shorter, which is a closer fit. I also noticed that the axle hole on these was slightly larger on the new wheels than the originals, which if corrected would help reduce that 1/8" difference. The easiest fix I found for this was simply to wrap some duct tape around the axle a few times before sliding the new wheels on. The new wheels will never go flat as they are not hollow like the originals, and the total cost for the upgrade is about $20. The new wheels feel great moving it around and look great too. They will surely be long-lasting, just like the grill. https://smile.amazon.com/Arnold-490-322-0003-8-Inch-Plastic-Wheel/dp/B000VOARV2 Unlike many previous grills I've owned, where I saw shotty or cheap manufacturing leaving me feeling like the money I paid wasn't worth the product I received.. this grill feels like it is well made (and assembled) and is sturdy and feels like it is worth the $200, if not maybe a little more. The parts look like if I take care of them, I'll see many years of service out of this grill. For the extra $20, I would strongly recommend upgrading the wheels. It is truly the only "cheap" component. I did buy a couple other items to go with my new grill: Magnetic Grill Lights (super bright!): https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01IJ9R9KM Griddle: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B000WNLFK4 I specifically bought the griddle to try and reduce the amount of gunk that will fall down into my grill and dirty it up (and reduce its life). I'll come back and update this after some time of using the grill. So far, I'm a happy camper and would recommend purchase. Just make sure you also are ready to replace the black high-temp painted 1/4" lock washers that will be missing, and be prepared to consider either replacing the wheels later or save yourself the headache and just order a couple wheels and some duct tape along with the purchase of your grill.

Terrible Instructions. Read for constructive changes.
3 Stars overall since I haven't used the grill yet. 1 star for assembly. This review is about how bad the instructions are. The review is followed by changes to the instructions. The instructions read like they were written by an engineer based on how to theoretically assemble the grill. Possibly in zero gravity. Input from a technician would have benefitted these instructions greatly. Assembly can be done with one person, as I did. Two people would be easier if you're a hive mind since anything less would have person A holding components in place while person B storms away after having tried to thread one bolt for the past 20 minutes, telling person A "Up just a little, no, no, too much. Okay now a little right, back a little. You went up when you did that, come back down. Now pivot it clockwise slightly, no, clockwise." In all seriousness, the following changes to the instructions will make assembly easier. This is in complement to the instructions provided. The last step says to tighten all nuts and bolts, which is completely impractical since you would literally have to undo Step 18 to do Step 21. The following will specify when and what to tighten. Separate out all of the components and inspect them. Very possible you'll want to degrease the grill body and hood. Assemble when ready. As you install components, remove any and all packing material. No styrofoam should be left on the grill. Start with Step 2. Put the bottom shelf face down on a table or the now empty large cardboard box the grill came in. Lay the short legs next to the bottom shelf with the bottom of the legs at the tank hole side and the "faces inside" label facing up. Attach the short legs to the bottom shelf on the tank hole side. Swing away the short legs and repeat for the long legs on the opposite side. I assure you this is easier than doing Step 1, then Step 2. Now do Step 1. Flip the bottom shelf to face upright. Put a crossbar on a short leg, and the other side on the long leg, no bolts yet. Repeat for the other legs. Attach the leg braces. You should now have a rather sturdy frame with untightened bolts. Step 3. Tighten all of the bolts in the bottom shelf. For wheel assembly, use the small cotter pins. Large cotter pins don't sit in the well of the wheel. Defeats the purpose of the hub cap. Small cotter pins fit, and are concealed by hub caps. Use the large ones on Step 16 since that's all you have. Step 4. Do, then tighten bolts. Step 6. Do, then tighten bolt. Step 7. Do, then tighten bolts. Step 5. Orient the Stopper Bracket so it curves toward the flat edge of the grill body it's closest to. The lip should be facing out. Do the rest of the step. Step 8. Do, then tighten bolts from Step 5. Slide the square Grease Tray into the brackets under the catch pan from the backside of the grill (this isn't covered anywhere in the instructions). Step 9. Wait 'til the end to install the knobs. Perfect opportunity for the 2nd person to help by holding the Side Burner Body while you install the control panel assembly. If alone, then detach hose with 7/16" spanner or crescent wrench, or whatever makes installing the control panel easier. Tighten bolts. Install Side Burner and tighten bolts. Step 10. The Hose Guide Bracket for is on the hose and tucked into the Control Panel Assembly. Do the step, then tighten all of the leg brace bolts from Step 1. Step 11. Do, then tighten bolts. Step 12-13. Do. No additional comments. Step 14 (1/2). Install handle only. Tighten wing nuts finger tight. Step 16. Not sure why hinge pins are threaded and have cotter pins. Thread in hinge pin 3/4 of the way on each side. Alternate tightening and raising/lowering the hood so that the hood pops into place. Do not overtighten hinge pins. Use to align hood and body as best as possible. Then install large cotter pins. Step 14 (2/2). Install thermometer and bezel. Do not overtighten. Step 15. Do, then tighten nuts and bolts. Step 17. Tighten first 4 hex nuts before putting the rack on. Install rack, finger tight on the last 2 hex nuts. Raise and lower hood to make sure the rack and hood move properly. Check that everything installed to this point has been tightened appropriately. Step 18. Pot stand is already in place. Remove the twist tie. Do the step. Step 19. Don't thread the wing bolt all the way unless you're installing a propane tank. Just enough not to drag it or kick it. Step 20. Do. Do not overtighten. Step 21. Omit this step. After installing a propane tank, perform a leak test.

Please don’t buy. Can’t use in the UK
Completely useless. It took 8 hours to put together (and I’m an aeronautical engineer!) instructions are non existent, finally put it all together only to find the gas adapter doesn’t fit uk gas bottles. I bought 2 adapters before realising I’d need to change the hose as well which you can’t because of the fitting at the bbq end. I feel completely robbed of time and money. I’m so angry about this. Why sell this to uk customers????

Useless for use in the uk
Nice BBQ. Shame they didn’t say that the gas connection is not compatible with gas bottles in the uk. Would never have purchased if I had know.

Decent but complicated.
I'm going for 4 stars only because of the instructions (which are pretty rubbish). I've not fired her up yet but the instructions that came with it took me nearly 3 hours to assemble. BBQ itself is sturdy but I did have a problem with one of the legs fitting together as the attachment threaded due to the thin metal on the legs- as a result I had to find another bolt and nut to improvise. Happy with the end result though- just need to fire her up now!

Bellissimo, pesante e fa ottimamente il suo dovere
The media could not be loaded.
