WORKED OK
Used it to help remove drywall sanding dust from walls. Worked OK. Would have given this 5 stars if the maker would make it articulated -- that is, be able to twist and turn in any direction without issues. Suction is only as good as your vacuum machine. Otherwise -- worked OK.

I have hardwoods, with a few area rugs, and 2 dogs. I am a dustmop everyday and vacuum 3x - 4x a week. Dustmop is good, except you do get bigger pieces that need to be vacuumed up - so this "kills 2 birds with one stone". I lightly mist the floor with Method Wood Cleaner - or Pledge Floor Cleaner - then I go about vacuum/dustmopping - LOVED IT. it picked up the dust, vacuumed up the bigger particles (i.e. dirt, rock/pebble, food particles, etc). The vacuum portion is large so there are no issues if a piece of paper is on floor, it has plenty of room to be sucked up; the edges of the dustmop cloth rub along the baseboard, so the plastic "head" does not scratch baseboards. I was able to fit the attachment under the sofa/loveseat/chair with no issues - it even fit under my end tables which are about 4" off ground. The biggest issue I had was due to the "loopy" aspect of the fibers on the cloth (and I have the loopy one, not the "fringy" one) it sat slightly higher so some suction may be lost, but I have a Miele and it has strong suction to begin with; also looking at the diameter and looking at the diameter of the pole on my Miele, I knew I would need an adaptor, so I did purchase one of those as well, and it worked well. I think it should be less, or they should offer an extra pad for the price. After vacuuming I just rinsed it off with water, got the hair/linty particles out of the cloth, and it dried overnight, ready to be used again. So now I don't have to dust mop first, then vacuum. I can do it all at once and it saves me at least 1 hour of cleaning time a day; as all my floors are either wood or tile.

I used it to clean up drywall dust
This worked great, I used it primarily on my walls and ceiling to clean up after drywallers who left dust everywhere. The microfiber on this is perfect for knocking the dust loose and it has enough suction power with my shop vac to pull everything in. It's so good I didn't even need to wear a facemask. This might be an edge case but drywall dust is notoriously hard to clean up, I imagine this will do quite well on a hardwood floor if it can handle raw sheetrock as a surface. I will never be without this tool again for drywall cleanup jobs!

shaft angle is for a very short person or child!!
Everything about this is great - with one big exception, the angle of the shaft that connects it to the suction tube is incorrect!! In order for the head to make in full contact with the floor it has to be held at only about 30" to 3 feet off the floor, I am only 5'2" and I have to bend over to get it at the correct angle. I am using a Bissell Zing - maybe another brand of vacuum will be different. it works very well otherwise, but it is not comfortable to use.

Functional but not well designed. Doesn't replace standard hardwood floor nozel.
Why did I buy this: I recently had hardwood installed and liked this idea for my central vacuum system. I got a standard 'horse hair' hardwood floor brush/nozzle and have been using that with success but I thought microfiber would worry me less about long term additional wear of the surface and would get into edges better. Experience & design issues: -First thing I had to do after opening it was clean off the brush itself. There was a surprising about of fabric debris that came off of it. I'd recommend vacuuming it before using if you do buy it. -When using I found that it does not do a better job than the standard brush on the edges as there is little material that can come out the side and nothing in the design or stitching that actually makes it point out to the, side so it simply lays forward or back in use, there is essentially nothing that comes out the side. You can get into the baseboards/edge if you use the front as there is enough material there that it will usually stay pointing out that direction. -All the microfiber threads in the back simply get sucked into the rectangular air hole and do nothing other than reduce the airflow. Nothing I tried would keep them from being sucked in. In the front there is a open spot with microfiber 'numbs'/very short threads but the back area has the long threads which should have been removed or replaced with half or quarter length threads. -The one positive is that I do feel as though I can do a little dry 'scrubbing' on a spot without worrying about the firm bristles of the standard hardwood nozzle. -Note I've not yet tried removing it from the Velcro, washing, and re-attaching. I would give this a 2 1/2 stars and would recommend trying a different product.

Good mop head nozzle, but not so good for wood blinds
I'm giving 5 stars because this mop head nozzle is good! For what it is advertised for (floors), it would be great. That being said, I was hoping this nozzle would do the trick of cleaning/dusting my wooden blinds. They do okay, but not what I was looking for. For one thing, they leave a patch of dust in the cut-out area where the vacuum opening runs down the wood blinds, and they just don't suck up all the dust. Better, might be to use a glove with the same microfiber dusting 'fingers' that this nozzle has - as the microfiber duster-fingers are a big plus. I can see where this duster would be perfect on a wood floor. (btw: I found that the small Swiffer hand-held disposable dusters (with some furniture spray sprayed on the dusters) work perfectly on the wooden blinds!) yay.
