15's were too big, exchanged for 13, but... I still could tell that these are going to be nice. The reviews are raving, and I looked through all the pictures for a customer who had a similar body to mine and what size they got. I estimated a 13, but there were no 13s available in any color. So I got a 15. I am 5'2", 175 and had a baby a few month ago. I am on a serious hunt for jeans that fit a very misshapen and disproportionate body. Good luck to me. But even though they don't fit, wow what a great fabric. I don't know what the heck it is, but it's nice lol. The waist being stretchy is great. One of my biggest issues is that jeans will fit everywhere else except the waist. Its like they are 3 inches tighter than would be proportionate. Not these. These will be great. The length is horrible, like most jeans on me. I will have to hem them which changes the whole look, but I am used to it. As I mentioned, I ordered the 15 in these bc literally every other size and color were out of stock. As it was I had to wait two weeks just to get these. And of course they're too big, but I knew they would be. I just wanted to see if I even liked them enough to pursue them. I do, and I immediately initiated an exchange for the 13, but couldn't get the colors I wanted, unfortunately. I settled on whatever the second lightest blue is, not the lightest blue but the other one down from that. Hopefully I like them just as much. My body is very difficult to dress right now, and I am generally disliking everything about myself, and am tired of wearing leggings everyday (but only barely ;) ). I would really love for the new size of 13 to work out. Even though the first pair didn't fit, (it DID, but was unflatteringly loose around my legs), I still like these and recommend them for the material and stretch. Update: the 13s did not work out. I gave up bc I got pregnant again and am now in the same situation I was in for my first review of these lol. This time I’m a bit smaller and opted for the 11s. This time I am 165 but sadly still 5’2”. Unfortunately I am still not sure about these! The fabric I thought was nice is actually just too stretchy for it’s own good. You could get away w sizing down for everything below the waist bc of the stretch alliance, but the waist doesn’t stretch nearly as much as would be needed. I could put on a size 22 right now and my stomach wouldn’t look good so I know there is only so much that is the jeans’ fault. Most of it is me. But again the fabric isn’t the most flattering. It’s a little on the heavy side and sags my thigh skin downward, instead of lifting it. It doesn’t flatter my shape like real actual denim does. I had a pair of Levi’s 524 super lows many years back and they were pure cotton denim. No pair of jeans has ever been better. But when was the last time you saw a pair of women’s jeans that weren’t stretchy? Exactly. So I kind of conceded that and went this route but... All this synthetic stretch is wonderful for some, Like If you have a booty and a small waist, these are your jeans. But if your sort of rectangle shaped like me right now the material won’t do you many favors. I may have to just take a hint and stop searching these kinds of jeans, and return them. The hunt for post partum jeans may continue forever.
