Pretty but Very Frustrating

I do a lot of puzzles. After initially opening the box, I don’t look at the puzzle’s picture until I’m done constructing the puzzle. This puzzle is really pretty, but extremely frustrating. The pieces are small, and difficult to see the pattern. Some pieces were the same colors and fit in different places in the puzzles where they weren’t supposed to fit. At one point, I had to deconstruct an area because it just wasn’t working — all because one piece that looked as if it belonged, didn’t belong. The pieces are thin and separate easily, which is frustrating. I ordered a few of this brand puzzle because they were on sale, but will not order again as the quality just wasn’t there. I prefer Ravensburger puzzles which never disappoint.

Difficult annoying puzzle with small pieces

This puzzle was so frustrating. The pieces are small and difficult to see patterns. Some colors are the same in different areas of the puzzle. Pieces would fit that weren’t suppose to fit. The puzzle has so many abstract areas so quality precision interlocking is so important. The pieces were poor quality…some of the pieces the back was frayed. You practically need a magnifying glass to see the details on the box to see what goes where. I love the picture, but I highly don’t recommend this product. I quit half way wasn’t worth all the frustration. You should enjoy a puzzle. I ordered a Ravensburger puzzle and it is far superior product.

I wish I could watch these wolves play!

This puzzle is beautiful. The wolves are gorgeous, with lots of details in their coats. The completed animals look like they could come to life. The tree and the light through the branches were more challenging than I expected. They have plenty of texture and various colors. I spent more time completing that than anything. The forest floor also has plenty of texture. I enjoyed every part of this puzzle. I would rate it on the low side of "High" difficulty. The puzzle pieces themselves are a good weight. They click together nicely when placed correctly. Dust is minimal. This is excellent quality. This would have been a five star rating except that one piece was missing. Not just any one piece, but almost exactly in the center of the puzzle. It seems hard to believe that it was a coincidence. I know that I didn't lose the piece, because the puzzle was opened on the dining room table, and I was the only person to work on it. I might have saved the completed puzzle if I had all the pieces. Except for that disappointment, this is a fabulous puzzle.

great puzzle

my son collects wolfs probably because our last name is wolfe, he loved the puzzle and we have sent up a puzzle board on the dining room table which is nice so we can move the board when we need the table we were worried about the cat as she likes to sit on the edge of the table and look our our bay window, but she just looks at the puzzle and then lays down on the edge of the puzzle but she never bothers it

Super challenge!

This was definitely a challenging puzzle, but beautiful when finished. The picture is actually an acrylic painting so you can see fine brush marks and swirls to help out with putting the pieces together. The wolf and tree pieces can be easily mixed up and at times frustrating. You will feel satisfied completing the puzzle (no missing pieces), however, I don’t think my very patient 9 year old daughter and myself will build this again. This would be a great gift to a friend, relative or coworker who loves puzzles and you just want to annoy them just a little. ????

Love the picture, pieces are frustrating

Love the picture, very bold and colorful. The pieces can fit in many different locations. I prefer puzzles where the pieces only fit perfect where they should be. This one the picture has a lot of greens and blues and they can fit in multiple locations. Even looking at the back it fits. Just seems to be cheaply made.

There were a few low quality pieces in there but nothing visible after framing it. It's a pretty picture and it was a lot of fun putting it together!

challenging and fun

we are working on this one hard. 1st time stepping up from a 500 piece so it's a little more challenging. but also taking longer (which is kinda the point at the moment). the parts coming together are really pretty. should have started w the wolf though. the flowers are harder then I thought they would be.

Bonito rompecabezas, mejorar presentación y material

Lo primero que noté al momento de abrir el producto es que tiene defectos en las piezas, de inmediato encontré que tres piezas no fueron cortadas de la mejor manera (o con la suficiente profundidad) y parte del cartón inferior se quedó pegado por lo que al momento que fue separada de fábrica la pieza quedó dañada, afortunadamente la parte superior (el dibujo) no presentó daño. Otro problema muy grave (a menos que les guste estar sufriendo de manera innecesaria) es que no se tiene una buena imagen de referencia para la construcción. La imagen frontal de la caja no corresponde sus colores a los que tienen las piezas del rompecabezas además que esta imagen está "recortada" es decir, es más pequeña que la que forma el rompecabezas y esto fue de inmediato evidente al comenzar a armar las orillas, las piezas de las orillas casi no existen en la imagen frontal de la caja. En la parte trasera de la caja viene otra imagen la cual sí está completa, pero ahora se tiene el problema que es más pequeña y algo "desenfocada" por lo que pequeños detalles como hojas o pelaje de los lobos no se aprecian. Muchos otros rompecabezas que he adquirido incluyen una imagen tipo poster de la imagen que se debe formar, definitivamente para este rompecabezas algo así es necesario. Si bien es cierto que estos detalles ayudan a pasar más tiempo con el rompecabezas (la dificultad es algo que se agradece) en este caso fue más la frustración de saber que al mirar la caja para buscar una pieza en particular uno sufre con la pobre calidad y cuidado del fabricante. Si lo que buscan es la imagen del rompecabezas recomiendo buscar ya que otra marca más reconocida lo tiene aunque en versión de 500 piezas. Si te agradan los retos y no te molesta estar revisando dos imágenes para ver cual te puede ayudar para cada pieza, esta puede ser una opción. En mi caso, volveré a pensar dos veces antes de comprar rompecabezas de esta marca. Veré con satisfacción el haber terminado el armado.
