When washing or brushing the leaves of the pool cover the Cover Catch would not contain even a small amount of leaves.

Super clever, takes finesse

So this is super clever, though there's a learning curve. The asking price seems high for what it is - just a light PVC frame with net/mesh in the middle. I'm pretty sure a clever person could make their own for a few dollars, you could probably mosquito mesh, screen patio door material, etc. It takes finesse. I thought I could use it for leaves that are floating in the pool, but that's trickier than it seems, because this thing is so close to the surface. Its intended to sit just below your pool cover. Once leaves get wet they start to sink a bit and are below this catch. If you watch the video closely, it really works best if you spray against the rolled up cover itself, and push the leaves along the perimeter. It's not as easy as it sounds to push leaves with the hose. But an unadvertised perk, this can function as a frog bridge.

Just barely better than alternative

It's more work than you'd think, but does save a little time, so it's worth it, as long as you don't expect to knock out the chore in 2 minutes now.
