LED Rear light doesn’t work, Poor surface material quality

The media could not be loaded. Updated Review: I returned the first helmet and re-ordered a new one. This new helmet is perfect and everything works. Thank you Retrospec & Amazon. I will post another update on the 3 month performance from today. Stay tuned. Previous review: Pros: 1. Very light weight. 2. Covers your entire head and is comfortable. Cons: 1. LED Light does not work - As you can see from the video, the light doesn’t work. The instructions asks you to remove the plastic strip to allow battery contact, I did that, still the light did not work. 2. LED Light cover very difficult to remove - I did not have a screwdriver so I used a normal key to open the cover just to check if there is anything I could do internally but the cover itself was so tightly attached that I did not want to risk breaking the cover. You may surely want to remove the light cover to replace the battery sometime in future but it is very difficult to remove the cover and high chances are you will break the light cover. 3. Poor surface material quality - Also, as you can see from the third photo, I gently used the key to remove the cover and it created very visible scratches instantly which shows poor surface material quality.

Good fit and light weight

I was concerned that this helmet might be too small. My head measures 23 inches and the description says it will fit up to 24. As it turns out, I actually had to tighten the adjustment wheel just a bit to get a snug fit. I like the style, I like the fit, and the light is an added bonus. I have two other helmets, but this is now the one I wear the most often (on my daily commute to work.)

Good Looking, for medium head at best

The visual design of the helmet looks good. But it is definitely made for a max size of a medium sized head at best. I consider my head size a medium (though some would say a "big head"! lol), but I still had to trim off both sides of the side paddings and set the strap at its max length to get the helmet to fit.

Saved my life!

Can’t recommend this helmet enough. I took a nasty fall off an electric scooter while wearing this and hit my head, but luckily with this on I didn’t suffer any head injury. Not much else you can ask for in a helmet! Highly recommend

Not for Large Heads

It's cheap and I liked the look, but it's not really one size fits all. Gave me really bad tension headaches even at its largest setting. I ended up buying a Bell helmet size L which is snug but doesn't cut off the circulation to my brain. Go try out some helmets first. If you have a big head like I do then just go to a sporting goods store and buy a helmet there.

Comparable to West helmets

I wanted a West helmet, it's what I wore when renting ebikes so I knew how comfortable it was. I couldn't pull the trigger on the $60 price tag though. So I got this one for half that price and I'm just as happy.

Damaged helmet

Fresh off the box, got damaged helmet. The removable visor came in already broken. The front part of the helmet had a dent - as if it were hit by a stone or hammered?. Felt someone’s returned product is shipped to me. Will return the product.

Nice light helmet.

My wifes came with a chip near the base at the back from shipping I contacted the seller who promptly sent us a return label. Was going to return it and order the same one but they were sold out of white. She liked it so much she decided to to keep it the damage was just cosmetic and was covered with a sticker the size of a quarter. Had it over two months now and it is so comfortable that she forgets to take it of when we get where we are going.

Léger et confortable

Le look old school j'adore. En plus il est léger, confortable, procède un ajusteur dernière la tête et 3 différentes fonctions de lumière. Pour le prix c'est parfait. Je ne donne pas 5 étoiles parce qu'il y a une très légère bosse sur le dessus du casque (sur le plastique). J'ai essayé d'enlever la lumière dernière le casque mais après une dizaine de tentatives j'ai arrêté pour éviter d'endommager le casque (il n'y a pas de vis pour cette lumière).
