Successful Use

This magnetic door file is what I need, but it is flimsy. The pocket tends to come off of the small plastic thing it attached to. I am using it but purchasing a more substantial file holder.

Cheaply made for the money

This has already fallen apart twice. Definitely not worth the money.

Wow! Unbreakable!

So while we weren't thrilled with a small lip on the back to keep papers in this wall file, it definitely does what it should. It's easy to install (although instructions did not come with it). We have knocked into it 3 times in the first week with an office chair and it has stayed where it should without breaking!

Works well, with a little adaptation

With a little adaptation, this unit works very well. I like that it’s sturdy and the magnets are strong. I had issues with papers slipping out from behind; easy fix by gluing a magnet strip along the bottom, which makes me wonder why the manufacturer didn’t take the extra step to do this. Because it’s more opaque, it’s also easy to miss an envelope or folded paper if it’s not sticking up. Moving the tray a bit lower, so I can easily look in also fixed that issue.

Super Organizer: Quick & Easy Installation

Pocket file holders like these are GREAT organizing tools; I'm using this one in my kitchen, to corral papers and files that need to be transported back to my Home Office. The quality is excellent, meeting my Rubbermaid expectations--the plastic is thick and rigid, the design is improved with the elliptical notch, which also makes it easier to get papers in and out. Installation's a breeze--just two screws (with molly bolts, if you choose--they're supplied) or double-stick tape. I chose the screw installation, because I think it looks better in its finished form. Just line up the screws, install them in place, then just align the file holder & you're DONE. A must have in a busy office

I purchased these for my office at an apartment community. Great organization for move ins, move outs and the like. Keeps everything in its place and off the desk.

Pretty solid product

Pretty solid product. The product comes in three pieces: a magnet sticker, a back (you connect to the file folder holder), and file folder holder. So far the file folder has held all the folders I need it too, but I don't feel confident it can hold more than one or two file folders with about 10 or 15 pieces of paper each. This meets my needs, so i like the product so far. I will make updates if I notice anything else.

DON'T try the adhesive strips!!!

The adhesive strip application is a waste of time and a joke. First, the strips are too wide for the bottom edge, making them either stick up and touch the papers in the box, or hang out under the box. You shouldn't have to cut to fit the strips that come with a product... Second, after about 30 minutes of being hung EMPTY on the wall (I wanted to give it some time before adding extra weight), one of the file boxes fell right off the wall. I thought it may not have stuck well because of the orange peel texture on my walls, but upon further inspection, the adhesive was still attached to the wall... and the box. The Adhesive strip itself came apart with the weight of the box. Pathetic.... Within about 2 hours, all three had fallen off the wall and had to be mounted with the screws.. I was very frustrated, since i was hoping not to have to make holes in the first place. On the plus side, I was able to experience first hand that they are very good at not breaking when they come crashing down. Durability is good! I'll keep the boxes because I needed the organization, but I am frustrated with the mounting experience.

Almost 5 stars

I would have given this product 5 stars if it wasn't so expensive. For 1 thing, this was very expensive - its just plastic and it even was all scratched up. Thankfully for my purpose, it didn't matter that it was a bit roughed up but I would not buy it in the future for both the cost and the condition it came in. That being said, it is large enough for what I needed it for (holding Cricut mats)

Arrived scratched and pitted

Like many others, this arrived in a new box but upon opening it was scratched and scuffed and pitted. Poor quality product. Rubbermaid should be ashamed. Amazon handled the issue well.

Too bad, only good if you drill into the wall

The sticky tape that came with these isn't enough to hold it on the door so it can't be used without drilling and can't hold any paperwork without being anchored into the wall. Not a huge fan.

If you decide to screw the wall files into the actual wall then they are great!! However we tried to use the adhesives for one of the three files, and it fell off the wall within an hour. So the adhesives aren't good at all.

Just okay buy. Expensive.

Very expensive for something so simple. When screwed into the wall, the bottom would fling off the wall when touched making the files prone to come out. Had to put 3m double sided tape secure the entire edge.
