I did not find this to be thinner than any other paper gift wrap that I've used in the past. Be aware that this does not contain a lot of paper. I wrapped one medium to large sized gift and still had a small amount left over for another small gift or two, but I purchased with the intention of wrapping only one gift and liked that it was still cheaper than a large gift bag. I also hate gift bags as I find them impersonal and not nearly as fun to open, so this was a clear, easy choice for me. It was much easier to order online along with the present and have both arrive at my door in two days! I know that I rely heavily on reviews so I always try to leave very thorough reviews. Made the present "so pretty"
What would you like me to say about this. I needed to wrap a birthday present for my wife. This worked and she seemed to have fun tearing it to shreds to get to the goods under it. As a mans man it wasn't easy ordering pink polka dot wrapping paper. That or any of the many other pink things I have ordered for my wife. The things I do for a good woman. Every time I order something girly girl for her or my six year old daughter I get bombarded with more girly pink frilly stuff that is suggested by Amazon as things they think I would now be interested in. Every time I log on to my Amazon ap I now see woman and little girl stuff staring me in the face with a little note that says something like "based on you past purchases we thought you'd love this". My reaction is, great now Amazon thinks I'm some 16 year old hormonal chick. Well Amazon, I'M NOT! I am a man and I like man stuff argh argh argh grunt grunt!! Whooo now that I got that out of my system. It's worth it to see my girls smile and be happy.

This wrapping paper is just "okay." You get what you pay for though because it is very inexpensive! My main issue with it is that it is so very thin that you could see the images on the box I was wrapping. There was also only enough paper to wrap two small/medium gifts but I'm sure the length of the roll is listed in the description and I just wasn't paying attention. So if you're reading this, pay attention! It's decent for the price and gets the job done though.

Adorable paper, but not much on roll
Very small amount of paper on roll, but not bad for low selling price. This paper was used by me for Christmas packages - looks great when you tie baker's string (also available on Amazon) around the package for no more smashed bows!! Would also work great for Valentine's Day or red Fridays.

Dollar store quality
This polka dolt wrapping paper is so thin, it is equivalent to the wrapping paper I have purchased from the Dollar store. You can see through it; doesn’t do a great job of keeping presents a surprise. And the quantity on the roll is about the same as what you’d expect for $1. Not worth the $10+ I spent on this. And no cut lines on the back side for even lines. Would not recommend.

Works in a pinch
You can get more for $1 at Walmart. But, buying it this way, you don't have to go anywhere. I'd opt to purchase a thicker roll that stretches a bit further next time.

Great for the price
As others mentioned it’s thinner paper, so if you were wrapping something to keep the contents a secret one layer wouldn’t suffice. But I had a gift I was packaging in a shoebox and with this wrapping paper you would have to really hold it close to see through it to see the writing on the shoebox, but if it’s for wrapping a gift for a curious kid it may not be practical if them being able to see through it and study it were a dealbreaker. I was really happy with the amount of paper though and I was able to wrap my shoebox with two layers of the paper using a single roll. I would post a picture but my wrapping skills are not the best.

Nice dotty paper,however quite thin

Far too thin. Not fit to wrap presents with.
I wasn’t expecting a luxury wrap for the price but this is terribly thin. The paper tore around the corners of the gift by the time it was given (an hour after wrapping - second attempt at doing it as the first time I tore the paper whilst wrapping). You’d need three layers of this to make it a similar thickness to a cheapy roll of Tesco’s wrapping paper.

Paper is much too thin.
Not great. The paper is incredibly thin, so it tears easily and is transparent enough that you can see what is wrapped in it. I had to pro-war with a few layers of tissue paper.

Good but not great
Very thin, can see item through the paper. Would not recommend although delivery was very fast.
