So Many Possibilities!
I've bought these little skeins twice and have started using them to crochet a sort of patchwork afghan that is a replica of one made by a family member in the 50s. Each 4" square has a striped chevron motif with two colors and I was able to get six squares from two of the skeins (or three squares per skein). It will take 38 of the 40 skeins I bought to complete the afghan. This will be a perfect travel project because the skeins and finished squares are small and very packable. When the squares are finished and joined together I'll use a yarn with similar gauge (like KnitPicks Brava Sport) to crochet a solid color border around the edges. It's pretty much unheard of to be able to crochet an afghan for under $30--how fun is that??!!!!

Great variety
Perfect amount and color variety for someone getting back into crocheting. I've been doing small projects like granny squares and coasters and it's been perfect.

Closer to sport weight than a worsted weight.
Advertised as worsted weight but actually a light worsted. I believe it's a sport weight. This is the only reason I'm disappointed.

Small
The yarn seemed to be the quality I expected, I love Caron Yarn and this was the same brand. And the colors were fun and all different which was great for what I was using them for. However, they were much smaller than I expected. They were fine for making crochet kits for Operation Christmas Child, but I think the price was a bit high for what it was.

Not #4 worsted
Nice selection, nice yarn, but it is NOT #4 worsted size. This is much skinnier yarn. Works up smaller.

Nice, for what it is..
It's actually more like a size 3, not 4. I'm not quite sure the project I am using it for is working up to the size I pictured, but we shall see. Just keep in mind that this is NOT 4 worsted weight. :)

Great variety of colours and good for small projects but yarn splits easily
Colours are slightly brighter than in the pic. There’s lots of fibres and it unravels really easily. Ran out of white for Chimmy and RJ (used it for other projects) but it was really difficult to match the yarn at a craft shop (went to Michael’s). The yarn isn’t quite 4mm, I experimented with both 3.5 and 3.75 mm crochet hooks. Overall pretty good product and satisfied. Worth the price and not having to buy full sized yarn balls is a plus.
