Best base layer for extreme cold skiing

I ski in -30* to -40* (yes, negative) conditions. I wear this underneath a Sherpa lined legging and snow pants and it's very warm. I'm beyond happy and now plan to buy more Carhartt heavy weight items.

Let down

I had high hopes for these leggings and overall was a big let down. I don’t find them very comfortable. I don’t find the fit that great and I don’t find them that warm. I wear them under my jeans when it’s extremely cold here. Maybe it’s because it’s windy here in the Midwest? I just was let down

Warm and durable

These are very warm and durable. They don’t have a ton of stretch but they are long enough and the waist band is comfortable

Warm, fits well

Nice item, stays put in the waist in spite of muscle pulling the pants when you go for your cardio. Finally a well shaped warm tight for women with muscle.
