Consider layers
These are the most comfortable suspenders I've ever worn. When they wear out, I will buy them again. I've been wearing mine almost every day since April 24th of 2022. The clips are solid. The material of what they are clipped to wears down faster than the teeth. I've noticed this on jeans and Carhart work pants. Pants develop a worn streak at frequent attachment points. The uppermost two centimeters at the belt line takes the brunt of the abuse. However, none of my pants' stitching has ripped due to wearing these suspenders. As the pant material wears down, the suspender clips will pull off the worn areas when I stretch "too far" ( when reaching over, down, or up as far as I can extend ). Attaching my suspenders to a belt solves the issue so far. When I attach my suspenders to my nylon webbing belt, the grip is solid. I built my current belt about four months ago. I have yet to notice the belt wearing down. The pull is more even than when attaching to pants. The caveat of these suspenders is layering. The metal adjustment clips are fine without pressure on them. However, depending on the backpack straps I wear I have to fuss a bit. There's a sweet spot where I keep my camera strap routed. Sling bags tend to rub more than standard backpack straps do. Either way, the suspenders can be loosened, tightened, or moved for more comfort. I recommend testing with a loaded pack before going on a long excursion. There isn't a better suspender choice for driving.

Works better than expected
Very sturdy and well made. The clasps are heavy duty and work well. I wear these when I work outside or when i am going out for the day and don't want to wear a belt and want suspenders that are concealed and these work out perfectly. I forget that I have them on most of the time. I like not having to be concerned about my pants slipping down any more and having to not wear a belt is a blessing. I don't like the restriction around my waist that a belt causes and these suspenders give me that desired freedom. Very good purchase.

Forget the belt.
I've been wearing belts my whole life now that I've tried these suspenders I've never wore a belt to work since and I've never had to adjust or pull up my pants since I've switched to suspenders.

Light gage metal.
Updated review. Initially i gave a 2 star review. I needed to bend one of the clips because it was bent wrong. I purchased a "used" pair (returned). After i fixed them i have been wearing them for a couple of months with no problem. I think that if you try to clip them on to a thick belt they will bend. They clip nicely on my jeans. The plastic insert on the clips keeps the pants free from damage.

Like the style and for but theClips are weak
I bought this style of suspender because it looked more comfortable, and it was. The only problem was that the clips themselves were weak and did not grip my pants enough to hold them up, especially if the suspenders wee tightened. My pants would slip out of the clips and in one occasion the clip itself broke. Why Carhartt did not use the same heavy duty clips as they did in their traditional suspenders, I do not know. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this product but would recommend carhartt’s traditional 4 point suspenders with heavy duty metal clips.

Clips do not lock
The clips that grab onto pants are cheaply made and bendable. Mine failed to lock after only one day's use!

I had them on backwards!
I'm 6' 0", I put these on and when clipped to my waist the leather cross patch was on the back of my neck. *** I had them on backwards! Sorry all, I was in running late for an appointment. The fit is Okay, different from my previous pair of cross draw suspenders. I will probably like the fit better as I get used to them. 12/04/2022: I bought he first pair for my work pants on 08/23//2022, buying a second pair for "public" pants today. I would prefer a belt hook or belt loop attachment, the clamp type sometimes (not often) slips off.

I need support and I need it now! lol
I've had my struggles with belts...lets start there lol. I decided to give suspenders a shot since I just don't seem to be able to find a decent belt anymore. Having said that, there are weaknesses in the design of this product. But overall they do accomplish the job. Here goes. Size 32'' lenght and last I checked my waist was 40" In Motion: they do allow most movement but tend to restrain any reaching overhead. At times causing some discomfort with prolonged use. Sitting Position: they will stay in place most of the time, I have noticed that when you buckle in to drive they tend to "unclasp" from any twisting motion you make. It doesn't happen all the time but it does happen. Prone: No problems whatsoever which is kind of odd lol. If I could put it into a percentage I would leave it at 80% of the time they will stay put and keep your pants firmly in place. But that 20% is at times a little inconvenient to deal with. There is room for some improvement but still its a solid product and not too bad on the price either. I've paid upwards into 50$ for a boring black belt that doesn't last me 2 years. 5 stars by beating the competition

Built sturdy no cheap feel
They do the job nicely Update After using for couple weeks my thought has changed. The clasped don’t hold sturdy enough. The claps to shorten strap don’t hold. Awkward to attach. Wont buy another set

Muy cómodos
Los uso a diario para trabajo desde hace como 8 meses y son de lo más confiabes y cómodos. Preferibles a los de cuatro puntos de anclaje.
