Runs extremely large
I bought these for my very thin 6'5 husband after a pair on lined pants I bought him at Costco 7 years ago finally wore out. These are very well made and my hubs said they are quite warm. They are, however, huge! The waist fits him fine but you could seriously fit almost two people in the legs. Even with long underwear we could fold over the leg. They do run longer than normal, and after a few washes they lost maybe a 1/3-1/2 in length to shrinkage. He loves the durability and warmth, but they are heavy. If you have thin legs, maybe think twice about these pants unless you like a ton of room in the leg.

Satisfied with the product
Received expected product and quality. Pants fit as advertised, are warm and so far seem to be durable.

Good pants…. BUT:
Probably my most “disappointing” of several Carhartt items. Firstly, most Carhartts I have to size up on, these seem a bit truer to size than the several other pair I have. It threw me a bit, as I’d probably have been fine getting my actual size. Fortunately, I wear a belt. I’m not going to say these are bad pants. They are Carhartt pants and aside from what I already mentioned, they’re pretty solid and remind me of the unlined relaxed fit. Good strong canvass. Fits and moves as good as any pants I’ve ever worn. You could easily go from work, to hiking, to climbing, and even to the dojo. This said, while the lining is a nice touch, I suppose, and rolling it up at the ankles adds a pretty cool flavor, if you’re looking for warmth, these really aren’t any better than your average canvass. I don’t think my summer cotton T-shirts are as thin as the lining material, and it certainly doesn’t compare in any way to even my cheapest, thinnest flannel shirts. It could be softer and I can’t imagine it adds more than 2 or 3 degrees to its warmth value. If you want a bit of style and apparent quality just based on the fact that they are lined - these are good pants. If you wanted them for warmth? Just go ahead and spend the extra $20 or so on the Fleece lined which, while a little more restrictive in the knee and thigh (maybe the cut, maybe the thickness of the fleece, or maybe a bit of both), are very awesome and actually are warm even without your polypros or longjohns. Tl;dr: They’re good pants, but they are a bit disappointing in regards to what I was getting them for.

Carhart long..good pants tho
These, as with most carharts, seems to run a little long when I order my normal size. Otherwise, great pants. Very warm. Heavy build but not noticeable on the hips.

Typical Carhartts
Typical Carhartt fit and quality. The flannel lining seems a little thin to me, though. I think previous pairs had thicker flannel. Has a hammer loop, which I tend to get caught on things (maybe that's just me), but is handy if climbing a ladder and you need to carry a hammer.

Dear Carhartt, remember: God is in the details.
Lemme start by saying, I love these pants. I vehemently disagree with anyone who says the lining is too thin. In my past Winter experience, it’s just right: not too warm, not too cold—Goldilocks. I dug my brown pair that I bought in 10/2022 so much that I decided to finally pull the trigger on a green pair (even though they’re now a full ten bucks more expensive). Got em wardrobe delivered and they ain’t right on some key details. 1.) the rear rise is a full 1.5” shorter and a half past the crack o’ dawn when I bend over in em (if y’a know what I mean). Carhartt, cmon, bring that rear rise back up, please. And 2.) the pocket bags were a full inch skinnier. That ain’t right. You can tell right away. I buy Carhartt pants because I like big front pockets that I can shove my hands into and USE, not wedge my fingers in and shimmy down. These details are a big deal, Carhartt. Please fix em. Thanks.

Very warm! Feels soft on legs.
Relaxed fit looks good. A little baggy looking on thinner thighs but after a few washes they fit better. I may have gotten the waist size too small. Could use some extra pockets maybe with velcro . Not up to par with the pockets on duluth trading company pants but they are nice and warm and soft.

Carhartt Quality
For some reason I could only buy this particular pant on Amazon and I took a chance buying online as I've found that sizing can fluctuate. I usually try on Carhartt's before I purchase as even the same size can fit differently depending on the cloth stock. That being said always long lasting great quality.

Somewhat expensive but worth it.
I have bought several pairs of these over 14+ years. I live in Canada and wear these daily in winter. They are just the right combination of warmth and fit, and they are truly durable. The consistency of quality and sizing is amazing. Yes, I wish they were less expensive, but I haven't found an alternative that offers the quality, comfort and value of these pants.
