Carberature for Carberature Replacement

My mower sat for about 2 years with old fuel in it, took the carb off, cleaned it thoroughly, still had a bad surging idle and running rich. Took off again, enlarged the idle jet and put new gasket for the bowl on it, still surged and ran rough. Ordered this carb, 100% identical replace my, from turning over and starting to running while warmed up 100% Night and Day Difference, Ran And Idled Smooooooth. Would buy again and Highly Recommend this Part.

Perfect Fit on a B&S 13hp Intek Vertical.

I put this Nikki brand carb on a Briggs & Stratton 13 hp Intek on a DR Field & Brush mower which was used and abused but new to me. It replaced the corroded & rusted Walbro brand carb (stock when new) that was on there. The Walbro had a plated steel float bowl but this Nikki carb bowl is cast aluminum. This was a big deal for me because the Walbro bowl was replaced with a new bowl shortly before I got the mower. The bowl looked new and shiny on the outside but was already rusty and pitted on the inside. I'm sure it was due to "ethanol fuel". For those who don't already know, the 10 percent ethanol fuels are horrible on these small engine carbs. After many carb rebuilds or replacements I finally learned to use nothing but non-ethanol rec gasoline in my trimmers, chainsaws, generators and pressure washer. A little trouble to find a station that carries it and maybe a little drive to get there but in the long run it has really paid off. If I put gas in a can it's always non-ethanol with a shot of Sta-Bil. Oh yeh, The Briggs 13 is now running Perfect!. This carb was a direct replacement for the original Walbro and all the linkage and air filter fit right up.

Perfect OEM Replacement

Our church’s 28” Snapper mower had been running rich when on choke for quite some time . . . one day it quit completely and wouldn’t restart. It seemed to be flooding out. I thought about disassembling and rebuilding the old carb, but it appeared as though it was constructed so as to discourage disassembly or adjustment. I did check the float and needle/seat assembly and it all looked OK, but couldn’t tell anything beyond that. So, rather than waste time and $$ on potential failure, I bought this carb. Exact replacement. 10 minutes to R&R, and the old Snapper has never run better! Highly recommended.

No fuel line

The carb works great no adjustment neede but it didn’t come with the fuel line as shown in the pics. I had to order a fuel line from a different seller delaying my project. Not happy with this seller.

Runs like new!

I bought a ride on mower that was used "twice" and sat with untreated fuel (with ethanol) for a year and a half. Being too lazy to dissasemble the carb to clean/overhaul it, I bought the whole thing new. The key here is to use the Biggs and Statton parts guide to ensure you're getting the right one as they vary even on the as engine model through the years. I placed my order on a Friday morning and by Saturday afternoon the new part was sitting on my front porch. All that was needed was To disconnect and reattach two bolts, a fuel line, and the throttle and choke linkages. Ten minutes and only one beer later, my barely used ride on mower I bought for only $500 ran like it was brand new.

Great carb

I knew ordering this it was not the exact carb for my Snapper mower. But I could not find the exact carb. The only difference is this one does not have an adjustment screw. After the bowl filled it fired up on the first pull. I have used it an entire season now and has performed perfectly.
