Part came in a bag and not a box
Part came in a bag and not a box. Could have been damaged. Did not come with any gaskets. Worth the money and the time.

Great Find for old tiller repair
My 32 year old tiller just needed a new carburetor. Glad to be able to find one! Part was exactly as described!

As others have said, no gaskets with this carburetor. The box was slightly beat up but everything inside was in great shape. Installed the carburetor and the motor ran fine. Did not have to adjust anything. No problems great product.

Missing hole
This was a great brand name replacement for our rototiller, but it’s missing a hole for the tank to mount to it.

Chinese made 'CRAP'
This was a total POS !!!!! 1. the throttle plate linkage was jammed as the screw which held it to the body of the carb was simply forced/hammered (?) into the raw casting, the casting was never 'thread tapped', the non-self tapping long screw was only part-way forced/skewed into the casting bore. • I had to disassemble and properly tap the damn casting with a slightly larger drill and then correctly tap in new threads plus larger shoulder screw. 2. The main tank 'dip tube' and the dip tube that feeds the main jet ..... did not have an integral filter screen on it, and which caused the internal orfices, etc. to soon quickly block. • I had to remove the dip tubes (with integral 'screen') from the carb that I was replacing and press-fit them into the bore on the body of the 'new' carburetor. Try press fitting a long thin brass tube without the proper pressing 'jig'. This is not the fault of the Amazon sub-distributor nor Amazon who sent it to me. It is clearly the fault of B&Stratton who now manufactures in China .... where they apparently dont know the difference between a screwdriver and hammer nor have absolutely NO idea of quality control. Obviously Im very disappointed with Briggs & Stratton. I hope they sell a LOT of this 'crap' IN CHINA .... as a replacement of their future market share lost in the USA. Very PIZZED!

Terrible packaging
The carburetor came in a flimsy Briggs and Stratton branded paperboard box which was shipped in a soft envelope. The box had extensive damage and one end flap was completely torn off. Amazingly, the carburetor does not appear to be damaged, but if it does not work when I get it installed, I'll know why. Also the installation instructions said to use the the included gaskets when installing, but there are no gaskets included other than the gasket for the air cleaner bowl!

Unlike tequila it better with out the worm.
Carb was shipped in normal Amazon box, but the original carb box that was inside had a rough life, ripped down the sides and tapped with packing tape to hold the contents. Once opened, I discovered the gaskets were missing, must of fallen out long-ago. After carb installation it ran perfect for about a minute, then it died. Would only run with starter fluid sprayed in it. Off it came, pulled it apart to find a meal worm cocooned in the gas galley that brings gas to the bowl. Works perfect after deworming.

No gaskets
The required gasket is not included or wasn’t in the package.. not very helpful to not include 20 cent gasket with $130 carburetor.
