Wishing the one pictured had been available

It was disappointing to receive a substitute barrette because the one pictured is really a beautiful design. I hope that someday this original will be available and I will buy it because the clip functions well - I just did not like the pattern that was sent. I returned it and was reimbursed promptly.

Too expensive for the quality and not as pictured. It looks cheap. It also does not hold much hair.

Very thin plastic without much bend to it.

Very thin plastic, I don't expect it will last very long. I'm just hoping it with get me through my vacation in July. Definitely not worth the money and shipping was WAY overpriced.

Surprised

I did not get the pictured products. When I first opened the package I was seriously disappointed. It looked cheap and flimsy and I didn't think it'd hold my long, extremely thick hair. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it actually hold my hair beautifully so far. My sister is a hair stylist and says I have the thickest hair she's seen. So if your worried it won't hold your hair don't be. But if you have your heart set on the product in the pic don't buy. The one I got is similar, but not the oyne pictured, but I don't care since it holds my hair fine. Update: the seller contacted me and made amends!

CHEAP

This was cheaply made, thin plastic and too much money for what it is. If I had paid $1 I wouldn't have complained... but $12 and I had to say something!

The one I received looks NOTHING like the one in the picture. I do not like it at all! I am crippled and do not drive so returning it is a big problem. I am a shut in, that is why I shop online! I need someone to contact me asap about this situation. Below is a picture of the one I received. You can see that they look NOTHING alike. Don't hesitate for a minute-- you gotta have it!

This pin is very elegant and effective. I love it! My hair is very long and this holds beautifully. A tip-- its a little hard to get the pin through both holes so when you have placed it where you want it-- give the barrette a gentle little squeeze and the pin will glide right through. This may not make sense now but when you try placing it-- you will understand. Several ladies have wanted to know WHERE I found it. Amazon of course! The vendor was very prompt in getting it to me.
