Great fit!
I wanted this for my daughter’s ballet classes. She’s 13 years old and a bit tall so I was going to get a size M but after reading the reviews I went for size S and it was a perfect fit, there’s no gap on her chest, fits perfectly!

Overall very good but slightly odd
As noted in the headline, overall this is very good. I am 5'1 and 112lbs with big butt - I got a size Medium and it covers my whole butt. The halter part/top seems to be a little big and slightly big by the sides over my boob area but the back is bordering on tight. The leotard comes with a built in liner. Like I said, overall it is good but the fit is slightly awkward. I would definitely size up though vs the size chart.

A beautiful leotard that runs a little small.
Let me start out by saying that I would purchase this product again, especially in a different color. It is lovely, stylish and perfect for dance. I purchased this leotard for my ballet classes and I am a busty 180lbs with a narrow waist. Since I saw reviews saying the leotard runs small I decided to go a size larger than I normally wear. To make sure I could fit, I purchased an extra large to accommodate my figure and I'm glad I got it that size. It has good support for my chest and is made out of a good material, but it is tight around the thighs despite the rest of the leotard fitting. The halter piece pulls on my neck on occasion, but the leotard stays in place even with great movement which is awesome. The back of the leotard dips a little low for my taste, so a sports bra is necessary. It will have to be broken in some before I can say it is completely comfortable. Overall 4/5 Positives: It is a beautiful, high quality leotard that stays in place. Supportive for a busty chest. Negatives: Runs small and dips low in back, exposing a lot of skin. Can be tight around the thighs and neck. Recommendations: Get a size larger than you normally wear.

excellent leotard
This is a great leotard. It is made of a synthetic material which dries out quick. It can be washed in the machine but has to be hung dry. Since it is a darker color, it develops white patches sometimes when washed in the machine probably because it absorbs some kind of lint from all the other clothing. So I prefer to hand wash and hang dry. The halter part is very comfortable. The back is nice and low almost ending below the middle of the back. It is very much worth the price and ships pretty quick. I got mine within 3 days. I wear it all the time and it goes through a lot of wear and tear and it still survives in my closet as one of my better leotards and it looks very nice even if I wear it now to a dance class. It does have a built in shelf bra. If one is used to wearing leotards with no bra, then its absolutely comfortable but if one needs a bra to be comfortable in a leotard, I will not recommend this halter because it is hard to find the right bra to go with it. All the bras will be visible on the outside when worn with this leotard and that is not a look that appeals to me. If you are comfortable wearing the leotards with no bra and not conscious of an exposed back while dancing, this is the one for you! For those who are buying their first few leotards, remember to look at the sizing chart, get your girth size and then pick your size.

Halter top leo.
This leotard came a tiny bit smaller than I expected. I am about 5'5" and 128lbs and I got a large. I will still wear it as it is not too small to wear comfortably. This leo does not have any padding whatsoever, just a thin bra lining. I wear a bra under it so I do not feel uncomfortable. This leotard stretches quite a bit and it is very cute, I have already gotten a compliment after one day of wearing it.

Beautiful but came defective
The media could not be loaded. I got these leotards in burgundy and blue. They’re amazing (you do need to size up by at least one or two sizes though!) but the burgundy one came with a hole in the bikini area. It still had its tags and was in clear wrapping, so I’m assuming it might have gotten damaged when it was leaving the shipping depot during the packaging process? I’m going to keep it because the hole is near the front of the crotch which won’t be seen if you have pants on—-also I need it and can’t wait for another order, so this will do. Otherwise this would have been a 5 star review.

Terrible fit! Three sizes too small!!!
Three sizes too small!!! The fit and sizing is absolutely terrible and completely incorrect for any Canadian child/dancer!!! An adult XS doesn’t even fit the girth of my average height 8yr old. It is also an extremely narrow and snug fit for the extremely petite skin and bone body type. I am a professional dancer and dance studio owner and this is disappointing. The fabric and basic design is the only good thing about it. Very disappointing for a Capezio brand.

chest is too large
Bought this for my 13 year old daughter in a women's size medium and it fit well everywhere except the chest, which because of the halter neckline gets a big gap when when leans forward so its not ideal for acro and dance glass. Will be sending back.
