I shouldn't have bought dance tights

A lot of people seem to have the same sizing issue that I'm having with these, but given that they're from a company that does dance practice clothes, I should've known better. I bought because I remembered the brand from my younger dance days and know they're good quality, which they are. These are more like compression tights for people doing ballet or whatever, and as such, not so great for lounging around in. If you're on the bigger side and looking for casual tights to layer normal clothes over, don't go for these.

Lilliputian size

Normally, small is too big for me. These are TINY. I wonder if they were mis-sized? Perhaps they are really children's size? Anyway, as I said, normally, I wear an extra small, with room to spare, and, these are sized SMALL, but are really really tiny. Quality, excellent, so, I am disappointed they don't fit, or more specifically, I cannot squeeze myself into them..

Poor quality

Very thin fabric, tight and narrow elastic at top, not the original Capezio, they're a knock off.

they run very small

i usually get a large in tight, but this large I really had to struggle to get on and the waist was very tight.

Awesome tight fit

I wanted them to be tight, and it’s awesome!! It is a bit tight but that’s what I wanted and I’m very happy with the product. The bottom is a tight fit which is what I was looking for. No need to size up if want a tight fit. They are not the most comfortable but ok

I’m 5’7” and 180. The XL were SUPER tight and the waistband cut in. I wore them for one ballet class.

Size up!

Definitely size up! I’m a size small. After reading some reviews that said to size up I ordered a medium. They are snug! I would have preferred a large. The legs are actually ok once you can wrestle them on. Solid compression. But the waist elastic cuts too tight and is very unattractive. So size up:

Waistband horrendously tight

These leggings come with a very tight elastic waist band that had to stretch about 3 or 4 times to go round my waist. I ordered large which was the correct size for my height and weight. I had to cut the waist band with scissors to achieve a comfortable experience wearing the leggings. It is a great pity as the actual leggings are very nice material and stretch well. To make these legging worth buying I would say you have to either like a very tight band digging into your middle or have a tiny waist. I would recommend the manufacturer to change the waistband to a more forgiving elastic or make it a lot bigger. Say a third or a half more than at present.

Great tights - go a size up

Great dance tights but go a size up.

SIZE WAY UP

These fit like compression tights. I usually wear M and bought L. I roll up the bottoms to get them over my feet to my knees and then up the same again. Can’t say they’re uncomfortable but time consuming to put on and take off.

Too small.

These come up very small. Get one or two sizes bigger. It’s a joke that they are sized so wrong and will catch a lot of people out.
