Perfect at first, but wears out fast
When this tank arrived, I could not believe it. It was just what I had hoped for. The right size, shape, material felt good (it's a lightly "ribbed" synthetic, has a cotton look about it, but dries fast. It's also not sheer or transparent, falls good on you. The reason I give it a 3 is that the materials wears out very easily. It's supposed to be used by active women, but it's just as delicate as if it was for a summer evening date. I went hiking in it, with a day pack on, and after the first outing I could not believe my eyes (once more!). Where the pack had been, the material had worn out. It was not torn, just showing the wear. This was on the hips, but also in front, where I had had the chest strap. And while you can argue that the hips carried the pack all day, the chest strap was on for just a little part of the time. So, while your lovely ExOfficio will continue to serve you well -- it is serving me -- be prepared to not look as good in it if you put it to real work.

Comfortable but Fragile
I am a big fan of Exofficio clothing. The Exofficio Give-N-Go underwear is my favorite travel and everyday underwear as it is comfortably designed, a wicking stay-cool fabric and washes out with a couple drops of shampoo, body wash or laundry detergent. Dries out overnight. Great stuff! These tank tops are similarly comfortable, but have one significant drawback. Any friction causes a wear pattern to appear. I wore one without a shirt over it and discovered that my purse strap had caused significant damage just from rubbing on the tank top. They also "pick" easily. They are now my goto undershirt or tank layer but I don't wear them without something else covering them. I have these in light pink, hot pink, black and royal blue. The colors are great.

Tank dries quickly
Love this tank top. I bought two and was able to wash in hotel sink and dry in about 1 1/2 hours. Great for travel where you only get one suitcase and jump from hotel to hotel with little time to wash. They were also super light to pack. They look thin but they fit perfect, covered me well and kept me cool in Africa.

I had some in size large, but they were way too tight. Definitely order up a size unless you want them extremely form-fitting. But they are great - nice and warm on cold days, not too hot on warm days, quick drying, and of course a perfect match for their panties.
