Expensive Look Without the Cost

I was quite surprised when I received my three LED Pillar candles as to the quality of the product. These candles look expensive and are well made . . . It made such a lovely additional to my dining room without the mess of wax candles. The candles have a 4hr and 8r timer plus an off switch. For example, if you switch to the 4hr mark at 8pm, the candles will come on every night at 8pm, and flicker for 4 hrs then automatically turn off. When you turn the switch to "Off," the candles reset to zero time. Each candle takes two "D" size batteries.

Had a little difficulty with the remote but the product supplier was very helpful in resolving the issue.

Looks like a real flame even close up.

The candle has been on for about 5 hours now. This candle looks real. Totally random movement, flickering, no way this looks like a battery candle. I just might get a few more. I wish someone would make a real flame Advent candle set though with the three purple and one pink candle. At any rate, this candle's "flame" looks so real. I can't comment on battery life but at five hours is looking good.

Battery size is NOT as described for the big girth ones!

Be aware that 3.75x6.5 size uses D batteries, not the stated “C” & that the moving light sticks up much higher from its hole & doesn't look as good as the wonderful Simplux brand ones...but is fine if used in an solid colored enclosed candle holder, like mercury glass.

A great candle

I have had these candles for several months now. They are beautiful. The flame is not like the flat flames that only look good straight on. The flames on this are actually fully formed like natural flames. There is even a hint of blue at the base which is a perfect touch to making them look realistic. The flames move in a random circle which again I think makes them look more realistic.

Good candle for low room lighting.

Candle work great. The only thing that would make it better would be if it was a little brighter. Normally we leave a small light on in our bedroom until we retire at night. Now we have the candle on for 4 hours. We may get a 2nd one to provide more light.

Nervous candle flame

It's ok, but not realistic...unless you're used to candles burning in a seriously drafty house. There's nothing calming to me about a candle that looks like IT needs Paxil. At least it doesn't make noise like the other ones purchased from Amazon! I won't return the candle, but Im not impressed enough to order another one for myself...or as a gift. And it requires two "D" batteries. Just for one flickering LED bulb?

Very real flame effect, and oh so much safer than real flame!

A couple years ago "Someone" in the family left a candle lit, and it burned down into the plastic Chinese candle holder which ignited, very nearly burning our house down but for the smoke detectors going off at 3:00 am. As a result we switched to LED candles. These are some of the nicest, most realistic ones we've tried. Well done!

The most "Real" led candle you can get

Exactly what I was looking for. The "3D flame" is the most realistic I've seen on any of these LED candles, upper portion of candle glows close to the flame just like a real one, not glowing at the base. Colour of the light is more white and realistic, and not the orange glow you'd find on others. Movement of the flame and lights are very realistic. Lights up a room real nice, unlike the led light projecting on flat moving plastic flame where the light can spill on a back wall or ceiling. Fooled me a couple of times where I avoided the flame thinking I was going to burn myself.

Brilliant

We love this Led Candle. It looks very authentic, especially with the movement in the flame. The batteries were not included and are a bit expensive but hopefully they'll last a long time. A really good safe alternative to a real candle.

Great Candle - Real Feel

We bought 4 of these - they look incredible - very real feel to them. The timer function is fantastic. Only issue we have is one of the 4 candles we ordered the timing function doesn't work. All the others turn themselves on at the same time each evening but one doesn't work. If they all worked I would give it a 5 stars plus.

Works well, realistic

Product came on time. Works well. It is realistic. I have put inside a lantern. Set timer for 4 hours, it comes on same time each day for 4 hours.

I bought one of these to replace one of my ...

I bought one of these to replace one of my other moving flame faux candles but much preferred this one so bought another one. They look so real. The flame looks real and the candle is actual wax. I use all year round but look lovely when Autumn/Winter comes and at Christmas. There is a timer function as well which you can set to 4 or 8 hours. These came very well packaged and with lightning delivery. Word of warning though. I left the one used to have in a warm conservatory and it melted. Because its real wax keep away from the sun and any heat.
