I like where the look is going

This was a solid purchase. I like where the look is going, though I feel for the price, it should fit a little cleaner than it does. It has a pronounced baggy "kite-ish" feel that detracts from the overall presentation. It should be noted that all bodies are different. I have a waist between 34-36 and am about 6' tall. A large usually fits me quite well. I think in this case, however, a medium would have been the way to go.

awesome work shirt

I had previously bought the Chef Works "cool vent" shirt and really didn't like it. This one is so much better! The fabric is actually breathable, it's cooler because it doesn't have that double-breasted thing going on, and it fits me just about perfectly (Ideally I'd like the sleeves an inch shorter, or add a little stretch to the fabric). The pen/thermometer pocket is handy and makes the shirt "kitchen official" enough that I can wear this instead of a hot and itchy chef coat at work. Also pretty dang stylish as far as kitchen wear goes!

Going clubbing?

Love the design and fabric . Chef works a go to brand in chef clothing. Pictures very deceiving on how shiny this shirt is . Shiny metallic is what you get . So be aware .

Weird material and coloring.

Want to like it?! Fits good, a little smaller and trimmer than a "regular" chefworks shirt but the material is strange. Supposed to be denim style but appears shiny and reflective almost silvery in some light.

Great work shirts for more than just chefs!

This is a great work shirt -- for more than just chefs! I bought one for my husband who is in construction because it's far more attractive than the Dickie work shirts his peers usually wear. He loved the thermometer pockets too, as they are a great place to hold the pencils and markers he uses on-site all day.

Wrinkly

Where this look cooler than a normal chef coat they wrinkle. A lot. And I'm not into ironing. Would I buy them again? Probably not.

Not bad, but not as described

A bit thin but rather well built, if somewhat lackluster. No idea where the manufacturer took the idea this was denim; some kind of synthetic-feeling poplin is my best guess, but not denim by any stretch of the imagination. The cut is generous, sleeves comfortably bend, so I decided to keep it. You may however want to pay heed before making your own decision.
