Sketchy Pocket Detail

From what I can tell, straight out of the package, there appears to be only one issue with this shirt. Looking at the product image, the front pockets appear to have button closures. This is not the case. The stitched button hole on the flap is misleading. It is in fact, nothing more than a "decorative" and "misleading" detail. In reality, the flap has both this fake button hole and the button stitched to it. The actual pocket is secured via Velcro, which is not acceptable for my needs. I am removing the button, creating a true button hole, and stitching the button to the pocket itself to remedy the problem. If you do not want extra work and don't particularly like Velcro, please keep this in mind.

Good fit, wish it had zippers

Fit is a bit tighter than the original Propper Tactical Shirt, but that's partly a good thing due to my small size. This comes with an epaulet sew-on kit, but no badge tab. I suppose you can get an extra one from Amazon or something, but in case you were wondering. My only gripe is that the placket are buttons, not zipper as the REVTAC and original tactical shirt has. This doesn't seem like a budget sort of shirt, so I find it an odd decision. I've always had problems with Propper's button threading where they'd wound over the buttons and force you to either spend time trying to remove it, or simply use force that might compromise the threading in its entirety. The green one I bought is your typical olive drab colour that tactical clothes use; the picture used seems a bit too much contrast. The elbow sleeve tabs to keep them rolled up also seems a bit too long, I couldn't seem to roll them in a manner without looking like you rolled too far up, or not enough times.

The shirt for the modern officer.

This shirt feels very nice. The chest pockets are big enough for an iPhone SE and the hidden chest pockets are invisible if you don't know that they are there. You can remove the propper logo on the button of the shirt and the color and weight matches perfectly with the Propper Kinetic pant. This shirt is clearly a competition to the 5.11 Stryke Shirt. And I have to say that the Kinetic shirt has won. What makes 5.11 better? Bigger Chest pockets, more attractive design, 17% more cotton and less polyester, original Teflon, Hidden Button Down and pen pockets on sleeve. What makes Propper better? Long and short sleeve for men and women, no logo on chest pocket, same weight as the Kinetic pant and $25 cheaper. I hate manufacturer logos on my clothes. It is my uniform and not an ad space for the manufacturer. And I don't like it when the manufacturer tries to save money with lighter materials. But it is very nice when a uniform shirt is available for men and women. In my opinion is the Propper Kinetic the besser choice instead of the 5.11 Stryke collection. Pen pockets on sleeves and original Telefon legitimate not this price difference.

Nice Shirt for work

The media could not be loaded. I like how it doesn't get wet. Liquid slips away from the shirt :o.. I am heavy for my muscles hahaa that's why I am 183 lbs.. I am 5'9" and I am not fat. The long sleeve shirt fits perfectly fine.

True to size and very comfortable

Extremely comfortable. Sleeve length was excellent for the Long selection. I'm 6'3" and a bit on the heavy wide. True to size. However, the length of the shirt front and back could be an inch or 2 longer. Overall, very pleased. Very comfortable while on patrol. Does not come with a badge tab unfortunately. That would make this shirt perfect.
