Female Ironworker. Rebar & structural steel. I bought these recommended by another member in my union and holy smokes were they right. I asked for these for Christmas. They are by far the best socks I’ve ever owned. My feet don’t get all nasty and sweaty anymore. My blister problem that wasn’t just from my boots, completely gone. Uncomfortable feet at the end of the day from socks sliding? Non-existent. I love these socks so much. It sounds goofy to be so excited about something so trivial but man, after buying 8 pairs of these I don’t think I will ever try a different brand. I work on my feet 6 days a week, 10 hours a day. Worth every single penny spent.

Higher initial cost, lower long term cost, much better fit and quality.
17 May 2017 - Had 7 pair for 1 year, wear every pair every week, wear steel toe work boots at work, also lots of hiking. Two socks (out of 14) just now have holes at the toe after 50+ uses each. But the socks are no longer as thick and fluffy as they were when new, they all need to be replaced. That's still over 2X the use of the Dickies Heavyweight Work socks, and Fruit of the Loom Work Gear socks. Original review - I have a total of 7 pair of these socks, first bought 4 months ago. I wear one or two pair every day so each of the 7 pair get used twice a week (about 32 uses each pair so far). I wear steel toe boots most of the time, spend a lot of my time outdoors. I used to wear Dickies Heavyweight Work socks, and Fruit of the Loom Work Gear socks. I probably had 20-30 pairs of those brands at any one time, each pair was worn about 2 times month. Both brands would wear out at the toe within 1 year (maybe 24 uses). The Fox River socks are definitely thicker than the Dickies and the Fruit of the Loom. My feet are a little more snug in my boots, but its a comfortable fit. The Fox River socks last longer, roughly 32 hard working uses per pair and no sign of any holes. And the Fox River actually fit properly, the heel of the sock is at my heel. While the Fox River socks cost more per pair, they are thicker, more comfortable, fit properly, and last much longer than Dickies or Fruit of the Loom. Higher initial cost, lower cost long term, high quality, long life. Worth the price.

These Socks Can Hack The Daily Factory Life
I bought these as work socks to wear in my met-guard work boots. I previously had used some crew socks from Carhartt and was dismayed to see they were wearing out so quickly with daily work, becoming rough and less comfortable over a few months. In addition, those were sorely lacking in the winter months. These socks have been some of my best work purchases in a while. After many months of near-daily wear and long hours, these socks don't quit. They have only minimal degradation in softness and comfort from brand new and protect my feet very well from the boots wearing on my feet and ankles. I intend to buy these again.

If you are picky about socks, these are for you!
My husband has a job at a mill and is required to wear steel toed boots. The tops of his toes and various areas on his feet were rubbing raw from his boots! I went on an in depth search for some steel toed socks, wanting to purchase good ones to solve his issue quick. After HOURS of research I found these and ordered them. He wears lace up boots so he never has trouble with them falling down, they have solved the issue of his boots rubbing his feet raw, and after a year of HARD use I am back to reorder him some new ones! They are still holding up fine but he just needs some fresh socks! These are thick but they are not hot, he was worried about his feet burning up because he does work in a very hot environment, but there is no issue there! They have extra padding on the top and bottom of the toe as well as the heel area! 11/10 recommend.

These babies last and are worth the money
When I met my construction worker significant other, he was wearing white cotton socks on the job. He couldn't figure out why he was getting horrendous blisters (plus majorly stinky workboots and feet). I found him these socks and he is fully converted. Given the nature of his work and just the kind of person he is, things in his possession get worn out fast. Of note -- he air dries these socks after washing, so that might have helped them last longer. He successfully wore these socks for two full years (the third year of wear they were getting holes and more stinky). So let's say then that having about 6 pairs in rotation lasted 2 full years -- he wears them all year too, through cold winters and hot summers (though in super cold weather he'll sometimes switch to a warmer sock). Excellent value for the money, especially someone who's got a physically demanding job.

I am IMPRESSED!
I bought here thru Amazon after searching a long while for good work socks for Steel Toe Boots. I work 10 hours a day in a refinery with a lot of walking. Here in SW Louisiana it is very hot and humid much of the year. Other than the comfort, nice fit and great durability I didn't notice anything extreme until I wore an old pair of Wolverine work socks. When I took my work boots off my socks and feet were soaked from sweat. I noticed that! It immediately dawned on me that with the Fox River socks I noticed alost no wetness to the sock or my feet. I have paid close attention since then with Heat Index near 110 degrees and extreme humidity and still dry feet and socks. I don't know how they do it but I am highly impressed! I bought 10 pair and have no regrets. The bonus is I don't get holes in the toes! Awesome American Made Product!

still sweaty feet, even after mashine washed them couple times
After 8hours of working, my feet still sweaty. the reason I bought those sox is to not have sweaty feat. I thought after time it will get better, but didn't happen yet. After one month of wearing the sox to work, sox are building holes. I thought they would last longer than that. I'm very disappointed and now can't even return them

Great for the price
Instant hit with me. I'm very fussy when it comes to my work socks. They are warm, stay dry through the day and the tops are very comfortable. I'm also a wool sock only guy, but the blend in these socks is very nice

My husband loves these- and he is not someone that comments on how he likes his clothing. He says to take them off when you take the work boots off, if not you will start to feel the dampness that they have been holding all day. He doesn't want to wear anything else in his work boots now.

Great Socks
My son is a sock shredder and these have lasted for months with no sign of holes. They are comfortable to wear but do slip down a little on his thin legs.
