I expected more

Not like in the picture

I do not know what they did to make it look so good on the model, but I must have struggled with it for close to an Hr. to get it to look like the picture or some semblance thereof. It came out of the hairnet all tight on one side and all floppy on the other. I even struggled to figure out what was the front of the wig and what was the back. I actually had to spend a lot of time brushing it to get one side to come close to laying down such that it would look normal. Then I still had to put clips in the wig to hold certain pieces in place so they did not flop the wrong way again. Then I had to spray with hairspray! It certainly did not look like this on me out of the bag. Finally, I characterized it as large because the way it fit on my head made my head with the hair look really big (like the hair didnt really drop down to shoulder level). It didn't cost much so that is the only saving grace.

Did we get a returned wig??

This wig was weird. The front had nice, smooth curls, but the top and back were all matted, tangled, and just a mess. I’ve purchased wigs before for Halloween and this is the worst one I’ve bought. Wondering if we got a returned wig….????????‍♀️????

THE PART DOES NOT GO IN THE MIDDLE!! When I first tried on the wig I was extremely upset becuase it looked exactly like Albert Einstein meets George Washington. I was so upset I went to the nearest party store, but the wigs they had were even worse so I decided there had to be a way to make this wig look at least "okay". When I went home, I looked at the picture and noticed the part was not in the middle. I tried it on again with the part on the side and volia! It looked great! I guarantee other reviewers only tried the wig on once and made the same mistake I did when I first tried it on. The wig ended up working fantastically and I received lots of compliments on my costume. Just remember: THE PART DOES NOT GO IN THE MIDDLE!!

It's great for a costume

I can agree that this wig is a little small. However, it's for a COSTUME...and it was EIGHT DOLLARS. I'm just saying, not only do you get what you pay for, but you also have to get the right product for your uses. I went to a Dead Celebrity party & was dressed as Anna Nicole Smith. While the wig did not necessarily look like the classic Marilyn Monroe look, it was perfectly fine for my purposes. I have long, very thick hair, and it was a bit difficult to get the wig to cover my entire hairline, but it was fine. If you are looking for a cheap wig for a costume, this is perfect.

Not bad for the price

I had to do some work on this wig. I had to cut off a chunk of hair behind the bang-area. It was all knotted. I had to use about 3 bobby pins to hold the hair in place because the front of the wig had no style. Unlike the picture, it was not combed over to the side, it basically just hung in my face. I was able to fix it and the wig worked great for my Halloween costume, but I would not recommend this wig to someone who doesn't want to mess with it. It definitely won't look perfect, but it did the job for me.

Kind of a hot mess but got the job done

I purchased this wig to dress as Marilyn for a halloween party. It was not nearly as pictured and came out of the bag as a rat's nest. After some brushing and some velcro rollers, I got it in some kind of order. It got the job for what I needed but don't expect to just pop this out of the bag and have it look like the model. It definitely needs some work. It is very poofy! I had to use bobby pins to tuck it down a bit.

Great quality for price

Really good quality wig! I was very pleased with the hair quality and how it could be tussled a bit and fall more naturally than other wigs I’ve owned.
