Dispute issued with Crescent-Not as good as the original

I was hoping this unit would be as good as the original greatest multibit screwdriver ever, the Crescent SDMB7CDP Dura Driver Screwdriver. The design of this screwdriver is very similar to what i had in the past but the build quality of the removable bit holder is not very good at all. i purchased from Amazon and it arrived as expected and i took it out of the shipping box and did not inspect it closely until after the return period had expired. I am trying to contact Crescent to see if something can be resolved but we will find out later

Better then other 7-in-1 screwdrivers.

I'm not sure what the negative reviews are about. I work in industrial Mantenance. I work in a Beer plant. I have lots of tools. Let's clear up a few things: This does not replace a solid screwdriver as a tool. This is a supplemental tool. It's meant to open junction boxes and screw in things witch reasonable torque. I can't seem to stress enough this is a supplemental tool, or it's a convenience tool. I keep it in my back pocket most of the time through the day. That being said, this is the most warp resistant 7 in one I have ever had. In a pinch I can apply reasonable prying force. The parts are thick enough to handle the torque. Not as good as a dedicated screwdriver but good In a pinch. They do not like moisture. I oil mine a bit to protect from rust. Keep it clean and it will work for years. Sure it has some radial slip, but locked before 30 degrees of movement. I imagine the small play prevents it from locking up as others have in the past. I'm buying my 4th after I finish this review.

This screwdriver ???? is perfect for me I am a plumber by trade. When the center shaft is removed, the is a nut driver that is the perfect size for the most common closet bolt size. (Bolts that hold toilet to the floor. It makes a great accessory for small pouch of go-to tools that I take into most jobs.

Pricey but it has a 7/16 drive in the handle which for doing HVACR is very handy. The older style was better

First screw driver i ordered the driver would not stay in the handle, ordered a replacement, handle broke right away on replacement, Ive ordered crescent drivers for years, very disapointed. Are these chinese knock offs?

Very handy

We had an older one with a rubber handle that had deteriorated. With a mostly plastic handle that is comfortable to grip, this one should be better (and has been so far).

Liegt super in der Hand

… aber soll ja nicht nur gut aussehen! Sehr robust und mit den beiden Einsätzen kann man schon sehr viele Schrauben bedienen. Mit meinem Mini-Set Bits und diesem Bithalter bin ich sehr glücklich.

Praktisch

Der ist ja mal Praktisch! Ergonomisch für meine RIESEN HÄNDE gut geeignet. Ich war etwas skeptisch, habe mich aber von einem Youtuber inspirieren lassen. Fazit: ich bin froh das MUTLITOOL gekauft zu haben. DAUMEN HOCH!
