Gorgeous time piece
Amazing Moonwatch love the accuracy and stylish black defiantly a compliment getter. Overall you will not go wrong getting this gorgeous time piece. Just a slight warning the glass face sticks out a bit so be careful.

Alot of Watch for the money
The hardest decision to make about this watch is do you want an all black watch with one leather band, brushed stainless with canvas band and nylon band, or brushed stainless with a stainless steel bracelet. Since I lacked a black metal watch that was why I chose this particular version. The band is soft leather and somewhat comfortable, however I may switch it out with a NATO strap in the future. It looks good, however it may have been nice to have the metal buckle and loops to be a bit thicker, however it is a perfect match for the watch so I won't be too critical. The watch itself is very nice, the dials are all very readable, and adds to the overall impression of purposefulness. The machining and finish are on par with watches costing many times more. The dial has the same precise look as well, and the raised crystal with frosted edges adds to the effect. The stem clicks into position with just enough friction to give it a feel of precision, and it just gets better. The pushers, obviously were designed for use with gloves, and both click with almost the same force. Worth mentioning, the pushers click even better than Tag Heuer chronographs, sorry Tag. The second hand almost sweeps, and gives the illusion of a mechanical or automatic chronometer. Great job Bulova! Another feature I like is the luminous dial. It glows blue. It is on par with Rolex chromalight lume, perhaps not quite as bright. I am not sure if it will glow as long as chromalight, but it is easily read in the dark. Bulova claims 10 second per year accuracy with its 262 Hertz quartz movement. I cannot attest to this yet, but the hands line up with the markings perfectly. I have absolutely no reason to doubt Bulova's claim. By the way, Rolex claims 2 second per day accuracy. Rolex however is a certified chronometer, meaning they have gone through exhaustive testing by a third party (Omega too). The box the watch came in was a nice touch, the presentation box is well made and comparable to the bakelite boxes that Brietlings come in. How does it compare with the Omega Speedmaster Professional (Omega Moonwatch)? I don't really know. I have an Omega, however it is a Seamaster, not a Speedmaster. I read reviews before I bought, and read some negative reviews. One complaint was of rattling pushers, I found this to be not true, at least with mine. Also a couple of complaints of the chronograph hands not lining up, my advice, read the instructions before starting the watch and setting it, yes it is a simple device, but it is also a complex electro mechanical device, so take five minutes to open the book. Make no mistake, you are not getting an Omega, Rolex Tag or Brietling, however you.are getting a very good wristwatch worthy of a high end collection. In short, I really like this watch. Even though it is not an Omega Moon watch I like this one because it feels like a watch costing much, much more, and has a bit of a maverick mystique about it tying in with the history of the Apollo missions. Worth mentioning, I have had this wristwatch for 10 weeks now, and it has not lost nor gained one second when compared the NIST time website.

To the moon!
This is simply a beautiful watch. Came with a Bulova branded leather strap. Great value for money. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Worth Every Penny (Especially on Sale)
Watch is beautiful and a great value, even at full price. I was lucky enough to get it at a great price and was thoroughly impressed when I received it. Most accurate watch I own and my favorite as of this review. This watch has everything you can ask for; history, beauty and most importantly accuracy. About the only low point is the band itself, but that was an easy fix. Will definitely be buying another version soon. Highly recommended!!

This is not your Grandfather's Bulova
In fact your grandfather would be very angry that his cherished brand watch comes with a foreign movement and a Chinese band. I guess this watch is competing with the Omega speed master or known as the moon watch which has a mechanical movement. I'm not sure if this watch is truly the Apollo watch or just cheaper made one. It is a fine watch for telling time but I was disappointed about not having a screw-down crown and a cheaply made strap, but most watch lovers like that it has a Sapphire crystal which screams to be scratched because it protrudes from the face of the watch. Also the chrono has very cool pushers which seem to work very well. It's obvious that Bulova has peaced together a watch for the Apollo missions which was flown by American heroes and honored them with watch not made in America. Just my two cents. Cheers

If Darth Vadar wore a watch....Or Always bet on Black!
If Darth Vadar wore a watch, he would wear this one. Black ion plated watch seems to have good plating on the watch but one of the keeps on the strap began to show wear after the first day of wearing (watch contacting my desk when typing) I was disappointed in the strap. Looks good, feels good but the ion plating on the keepers is suspect. As for the watch itself, very attractive and very legible. The lume could be better but will do as good as most regular watches. Remember, this is a pilot watch, not a diver which tends to have strong lume. I put an aftermarket pvd - black carbon fiber strap from badass watch straps or something. I would have rated this a total 5 star if not for the strap hardware. Truthfully, most people are going to take it on the stock strap anyway. One note about the size. It is a large watch but the black color makes it appear smaller. All in all, it does not feel big or wear big. Edit: on 10/29 I came back to raise it from 4 to 5 stars. Despite a subpar strap, the watch and it's PVD case is excellent. A top watch in my rotation. Edit 9/15/22 - A very accurate watch. Mine is running -2 second every six months.

Premium looking.
This is a large watch, I have thin wrists, but this watch does not look too big. Keeps very good time ,as you would expect on a high frequency watch, my only complaint is the long sweeping hand for stop watch ,it a fraction off the 12 o'clock mark, annoying other wise good looking watch ,easy to read and average loom, but well worth 300.

Great watch
Great looking watch, I also have the steel bracelet version, this is the same size but in black looks slightly smaller, this also has slightly better lume.

Completes my space watch set.
It was what I wanted so prepared to pay, but Amazon global assessed the import duties incorrectly but haven’t disputed as still good price.

Watch is beautiful, packaging damaged
The watch itself is as expected and looks generally new, although the crystal protective film looks like it's been removed and re-stuck on again with bubbles. The watch strap last loop is warn (shown in pictures) is it was forced into the hole to fit on the watch cushion in the box. I'm not sure if this is just how Bulova packages their watches. The box is damaged. Scratches everywhere and the exterior cardboard box is ripped. The Bulova logo on the inside is indented. May ask for refund since this is a special gift and the whole presentation is important.
