The propane cooker arrived on time and well packed. It looks like a great size and we are glad to have it. We bought it as a back up fir hurricane season so actually hope we never use it much.

I Required a small steamer for a last-minute lobster bake for my daughter’s sweet 16. I ordered two just in case one didn’t make it to the house for the party.

Burner worked great, but aluminum pot melted
Purchased to make maple syrup. Had about 20 qt of maple sap in the pot, and boiled down for about 3 hours. When there was about 1/3 of the sap left in the pot, the bottom of the pot melted and nearly caught my deck on fire. Used a stainless steel pot prior to using the aluminum one that came with it and it worked fine. Obviously the aluminum one is not graded for that type of heat and cooking. Amazon customer service was great and sent me a replacement right away. I just don't intend to use the aluminum pot for making maple syrup again. Something with less cooking time, or a lower boiling point is probably safer. All in all the burner works great and is easy to use, I just would be very hesitant in using the pot that comes with it.

Worked find, but .....
This steamer pot was easy to set up and use. The instructions could be better, but it is pretty intuitive with the diagram. Our problem with this product is that the pot itself and the steamer rack seem to expand at different rates when heated (are they different materials?). After steaming some seafood, I left the pot outside overnight to cool. When I went to clean it the next morning, I could not get the steamer rack out of the pot. My husband had to work on it for over an hour, and finally found that a paint can opener accomplished the job. Since the pot and rack were not entirely the same dimensions at the time and the rack was really wedged in the pot, removing the rack caused several dings in the pot itself. In addition, the rack is not totally flat anymore. Since neither the pot or the rack is round in the same dimensions, we cannot fit the rack back into the pot where it should sit. My husband didn't think that it was worth returning both the burner and the pot since the burner itself worked very well, so we will just see if there isn't some way he can fix this problem or just purchase another large pot to work with our burner.
