Size matters
I have been through the wringer trying to find the perfect fitting saddle. I have two of these this is on my gravel flat bar bike and I’m in a more upright position so I’m needing a bit wider than my mtb (mountain bike) on the mtb I’m more leaned down towards the handlebars. If you do a sit bone width test like at a shop they’ll most likely test only for one position. However if you go over to the Brooks website they have a method that talks about how your sit bone width changes depending on how you sit on your bike. I was rocking off the edges of most every saddle I was tested for. On my mountain bike I ride XC longer distance type rides and as fast as possible for an older 60 something guy. I have the Brooks c13 carbon rail it’s a 154mm wid, my C17 is the 168mm width (I could be off a bit on those numbers but I’m very close) and get this on my shorter days in the saddle I don’t need padded shorts I could probably get away with not wearing the diaper. The C17 is heavy that’s one of the drawbacks I had with buying this saddle, I had one before on a 19lb gravel bike and I sold it and found myself back to chasing the perfect fitting saddle and I couldn’t find it, I’m over the weight thing nowadays for this bike the C17 is on and the C13 I have is lighter but still a bit heavy for a carbon rail saddle. The C13 in the Brooks lineup is the only one I’m aware of that has a number but comes in different sizes/widths

Brooks Cambium, nuff said!
There are hundreds of reviews out there for this saddle and all Brooks Cambiums so I won't ramble on forever. Brooks Cambium are some of the best, most comfortable saddles out there. I have them on all of my gravel and MTB bikes. Some are carved and some are not The carved does provide a little more "give" and maybe more forgiving on long gravel rides, but my old standard (non-carved) model has never disappointed me either. They require ZERO break-in. Bolt it on and ride until your legs give out. Obviously saddles are very personal items by nature, but if you ride a lot, you probably owe it to yourself to try one of these and make your own judgement. 5 STARS. If you can find one under $100 new on Amazon like I did, 6 STARS!

Surprisingly comfortable
I've gone through several seats in the past few months looking for something that will A: Not overly stress my sit bones, and B: Not cause numbness. I didn't have high hopes for this seat seeing as it has no padding, but surprisingly it's performed the best out of all the seats I've tried. I contribute the success to the fact that the seat is a bit wider, and allows me to shift my weight/position around as I start to feel any sort of discomfort. The longest ride I've done on it so far is about 3 hours on a trainer... so no standing up, and lots of sweat. Highly recommend.

Great Buy and Good Quality
I have been riding since the mid 1980 and most of that time on a leather Italian saddles. Worn out quite a number. I thought I would give the Brooks B17 a try and I'm very pleased. Good saddles that fit right can be a challenge and while at my age I don't ride the long rides anymore I do believe the B17 would be fine on a century or longer.

Great, very comfortable saddle, be wary of sizing.
The TL;DR Pros & Cons: These are my experiences. Everyone's body is different, so saddles will fit people differently. In general this saddle is highly rated by a lot of customers, so it is likely a good fit for the wide variety of riders, but if you have some a unique physical inclination, it may not be for you. Pros: - Very comfortable, despite how thin & unpadded it looks - Cut out relieved the genital numbness and overall discomfort issues I was having while riding my road bike. - Price was just right. Paid about $100 at the time. I know that might be expensive for some people, as it's more than what they paid for their bikes. It's all relative, and to me the comfort is worth it. - Weatherproofing really works! - I am a big fan of the look (and lack of maintenance) on my bike compared to Brooks' traditional leather saddles. Now my only issue is that my bike looks faster than I actually am. Oh well. Cons: - Sizing was kind of tough to determine, and I ultimately ended up buying the wrong size. - The saddle is on the heavier side, so if you're someone that's concerned about component weights, this saddle might not be for you. - The vulcanized surface of the seat is not very slick. Hard to describe, but it's not sticky or tacky in the sense where it will leave a residue if you touch it, but it will kind of catch at your clothing a little bit. As a male rider, I was experiencing some issues with numbness and discomfort with the boys downstairs, even on relatively short (12mi.) rides. After some research, I found that a saddle with a cutout was likely what would help relieve my issues. I'd read a lot about the supreme comfort of Brooks' leather saddles, but frankly didn't care for the leather look on my road bike, as well as the maintenance that goes with them. Then I found Brooks' Cambium line. The saddle looks very thin with minimal padding, which would lead you to believe that it won't be comfortable, but contrary to popular belief, my online research told me that thinner saddles with less padding are actually more comfortable in the long run than extremely padded saddles. Still do not completely understand how that makes sense, but it seems to be true in this case. Not only was it comfortable, but also the cut-out in the saddle resolved the numbness issues I was having. You're welcome, my future children. I did it for you. Sizing was a question that I had, and it ended up being kind of hard to determine which model I needed between C15, C17, or C19. Somehow, I was lead to believe that the C17 was the right size for me and my riding (road bike riding, with a bike frame that puts me in a less relaxed, more aggressive position). I am an average build (5'10 x 180lbs), and the saddle was actually a little too wide. My sit bones started to feel a little sore on longer rides. If I could do it again, I'd go narrower with the C15 (and I actually have bought a C15 carved because I like the saddle so much). The C17, as I found out later, was built more for women, since women have wider sit bones then men, as well as people who have bikes that put them in a more relaxed and upright position (i.e. not me.). Other than that, the saddle is everything that has been advertised, and I don't see myself looking for a different saddle anytime soon.

A great all round saddle
I bought this saddle as I started commuting to work and wanted a good quality waterproof alternative to my 'cheap but functional' existing saddle. It has not disappointed. The saddle looks great, the surface is slightly textured which helps to prevent slipping forward, the cut is excellent, providing sufficient seating area in all positions without being intrusive to the inner leg. Unlike the Full Leather Brooks there is no adjustment required and it is not possible to change the tension of the saddle; that said the tension of the saddle is spot on with the saddle both supporting the rider in comfort and smoothly soaking up minor vibration, road noise and potholes. I have no reservations in recommending this product, after several hundred miles it is one of the best saddles I have ever had.

Comfort from the outset, No breaking In
Comfort from the outset, No breaking In, Even better comfort than a gel saddle. I have just started cycling again after a lot of years, In my early days I had the Original Brook's B series Leather saddle fitted to my bike Wonderfull Saddle after its broken In, But that takes a very long time and miles to do, but then you have a most comfortable Saddle, there is also maintenance to carry out ie use of Brook's leather treatment periodically, Tensioning of the Leather after some time, also keeping it dry or prevent prolonged periods of time in rain. Now This Cambium all weather Saddle is a Totally different Concept, No Breaking In, No Treatment, No tensioning. This Saddle is not leather its made of rubber with an all weather impregnated surface. Comfort is gained by the way this saddle flexes, the principle is like a hammock suspended from the nose of the saddle and from the rear, giving a suspension effect. This saddle model is the C19 and what that means is this model is more for the 90deg upright riding position, I ride slightly less than 90deg but still find this saddle comfortable. If you have a more aggressive riding style, dropped bars etc, then you should go for the Cambium C17 series. To sum up If i was doing a lot of miles each day I would probably have gone for the Original Brook's B series leather saddle, most uncomfortable until you eventually break it in, then you have yourself a very comfortable saddle, which will last for years. I don't do that many miles on a bike anymore and to break a saddle In would have taken far to long hence going for the Cambium, I don't think its as comfortable as a fully broken in Brook's Leather saddle by any means but its not bad either. In my opinion I don't think the Cambium will last as long as the original leather saddle, time will tell. The Original Leather B series Is totally British Made by Brook's, The Cambium Is made by Brook's but In Italy. My suggestion to anyone interested In A Brook's Saddle would be to go to the Brook's web site, Not to Purchase from there because on Amazon they are better priced, but just to check out the range and read all about the differences between there range and see how they are made.

Stealthy looks and good saddle
It's a good saddle for my carbon hybrid, looks modern and gets out of the way when I want to lean forward and pedal Hard. I can shift my weight to the harder back when cruising for a different position and the hammock in the middle works well vs my gel seat its replacing. Some initial soreness due in first days but ok now. I thought this was too hard for me until I moved the seat back more on the cycle. I think this needs a more recessed position (back on rails) vs a regular gel seat, but it's working really well for me now and a solid upgrade from stock cannondale. One thing is I need to get smaller seat post bolts as they protrude dangerously close to my sensitive area around the opening.. Summary is great saddle for a city fitness hybrid

My go to Saddle for Gravel and MTB
I have 2 of these as they fit me perfectly and are very robust. There is a lot of give in the saddle which I think helps with the bumpy nature of the gravel and MTB riding I do. The also get hit hard by the elements and are still in excellent condition.

Best warrant 10 years, and durable
It is not light but very elegant and needs no maintenance. It takes a while for me to fit my ass on it, I ordered C19 but got C15c, it is narrower than C19 but Amazon was so generous and gave the wrong shipment of C15c for free for me. C15 is a little bit too narrow but comfy for fast biking. C19 is more relax but the actual feeling is not that different because most of the support is at the back of the saddle which has no padding or flex. Overall, you cannot go wrong with C Cambium series.
