Not your mother's epilator
As a blondie in my 40's, those stray whiskers and peach fuzz seem to pop up overnight, and noted when driving in the car and the sun hits your upper lip/chin/cheeks. I've waxed/threaded/shaved over the years, and never considered using a epilator due to memories of my mother cussing at her Lady Epi back in the 1990's. It arrived last night and I charged the device for about 3 hours before use. I washed with my usual facewash and used the cleaning brush. I did not shower or do any other special prep for my skin. The instruction manual did not really give any 'how to's' or recommendations on what to do before or during use. I thought the device would be used at a 90degree angle to my face, but the whirring head is parallel to skin. I did not find it to be painful at all, perhaps from years of threading and HALO/BBL treatments. I had to use the device in a multitude of directions to try and pull the hairs on my chin/lip and cheeks. It did seem to get most of the peach fuzz. It has only been about 12 hours. So far I am happy with the results, though I did miss a few hairs. I am only giving 4 stars because the user manual did not give any useful information on how to use the device, and because I had to cover the same areas 3-4 times to get the results I was looking for.

great epilator for pcos hirsutism!
i've struggled with hirsutism thanks to pcos ever since high school. i have hair growth on my cheeks, neck, and upper lip. left unmanaged, i could grow a beard that rivals my brother's lol. i've tried basically every single at-home hair removal technique under the sun, but have always dealt with a 5-o-clock shadow within hours. epilating with braun has been an absolute game changer for me. i bought a braun silk epil 9 about a year ago and found that it often times missed some hairs and left a bit of stubble i wasn't fond of. it worked well enough, but i always had to clean up the leftover bits with a razor. still, what the silk epil 9 did pick up was left very smooth and the regrowth came back much finer and thinner! after years of the hair always being very thick and coarse, it was such a huge difference! so i stuck with this routine for about a year. on a whim, i decided to purchase the facespa pro 910 after seeing that it can catch hair as short as 0.02mm compared to the silk epil 9's 0.05mm and have gotten much, much better results! for my routine, i always take a hot shower and exfoliate my face first. then i dry my face with a towel (i've found that it doesn't pick up as well when my skin is still wet) and use the silk epil 9 for the initial tweezing. then, i use the facespa pro 910 to clean up what the silk epil 9 may have missed considering it's much more precise. this process between the two epilators usually takes about 30-45 mins. it leaves my skin feeling so incredibly smooth, i don't have to use the razor anymore! i do this process ever 3-4 days and have not had a problem yet. to address some concerns, i see a lot of people complain about in-grown hairs. despite being prone to in-grown hairs due to curly hair, i've only had maybe 3 of them ever since i started epilating. i use an in-grown hair solution every single time after i epilate (tendskin is what i personally use! it burns when you put it on, but it really helps) and i believe it has prevented so many potential in-grown hairs that would have sprouted without it. also, regarding pain, when i first started epilating with the silk epil 9 it did kinda hurt at first but not really since i normally tweezed anyways and was used to it. as i continued, it didn't hurt at all anymore. it almost feels more like a massage now lol. when i introduced the facespa pro 910, i also *mostly* didn't feel any pain. however, this was the first time i epilated my upper lip. it felt excruciating when i used it there. my tip for that is to take as many breaks as you need! it took me about 30 minutes just for my upper lip the first time lol. but it got much much better as time progressed. it's still a little painful after about 3 sessions, but not nearly as bad as it was.

This thing works!
**UPDATE: Beware of epilator rash! It’s not just this one, it can happen with any epilator or waxing. I woke up with hives and red bumps on my face and neck. Very itchy, and not completely gone after 2 days. Just FYI because I didn’t know about this. Probably best to test a small area before treating your whole face or large areas. I’m not sure I can keep using this device after my experience.** I recently started testosterone therapy and didn’t know about the facial hair issue. I caught a glimpse of myself in bright light the other day and screamed! I’m looking like Abraham Lincoln over here! Being of Mediterranean descent, I do NOT need help growing facial hair. I had to do something drastic, so I ordered this thing. It really got the job done, but don’t let anybody tell you it doesn’t hurt. It hurts like hell! I decided to just hang in there, but I think I was running strictly on beta endorphins toward the end. However, I expected it to be painful. Anything that rips your hair out by the roots is going to hurt.. duh. I don’t think it will be nearly as bad the next time. And I don’t look like Lebron James anymore!

Great! As long as it worked
Im 60, and have dark hair. Upper lip has always been a problem. this worked great! I swear the hair was less and less. I had it less then 6 months when it stoped working. It charges fine, the button will not press down, If it is on it will not turn off or (visa versa) Really disappointing.

Life changing
I’ve been threading for years, anywhere from $10-$30 each trip to the threading salon. I even know 4 different ladies at all different salons lol. Im a regular, regular in multiple cities nearby depending wherever I’m close to. But I finally came across epilators and ultimately chose this one out of other options, and over laser hair removal options that were most expensive. This is amazing though and will do the trick for now until I can afford laser hair one day. I constantly had to get my sides done, as well as upper lip and now having this is such a relief. I felt frustrated and hopeless always having to get threading done and how much it costs each time. I will still go to have my brows done, but with careful precision I can even clean up my brows a bit with this in between threading salon visits. No more threading for my sides and upper lip though!!! Im super happy and it’s quick and easy to use. I did my sides in less than 20 mins and it’s thick, corse hair even when it’s barely growing out the epilator was able to pick up most of it. I’ll wait for other little hairs to grown out and go over it again in a few days but mostly it’s all clearly and I feel so much more confident. If you’re unsure or the price turns you away, just buy it!! I’m a broke grad school student and now I feel so relieved.

Misleading promises
It is advertised as being able to grab even the finest hairs. I can actually see hairs and it doesn't grab them??? I'm wondering if they have to be long, but that kinda defeats the purpose of not having chin hair now doesn't it. Am I doing something wrong???

Bueno pero no excelente.
Buen diseño y buenos materiales. La verdad en mi caso solo quita de raíz como un 70% de los vellos faciales, el resto solo lo troza. Bastante doloroso a decir verdad. Le doy un 7/10
