Poor material and boob area much too small
I wish it were cotton. I thought it WAS cotton. It sure looks like cotton... but alas, it's some weird mesh type situation. Which surprisingly isn't super uncomfortable. It's still not comfortable, but it's also not uncomfortable. if it fit good and suited my needs, I could definitely live with it. Basically what I'm looking for is a bra to lounge in. when you've got large boobs, you ladies know, you can't just NOT wear a bra. Not if you're trying to get anything done, anyways. I want something I can do laundry in, pick up the kids toys, cook dinner. But I don't want to be constrained like I usually am during the day. I want a bra that holds me together and yet doesn't feel like I'm wearing a bra. That's not this bra. Bralettes are hard when your boobs are disproportionately large. If you find something to fit your boobs, they're gonna be sliding out the bottom because there's no way in hell that band is gonna be snug enough. So I was really excited to see this, because Freya caters to women of all sizes, not just the typical "A-D" cup. I used to size chart for this bra I found on another site (didn't check if it were listed here, too) and it said I would be a size Large. And the band fit great. I even did the lay down test and you feel virtually no bra. This would be a good one to take to the movie theater, so you can recline back and not have your underwire break three ribs and suffocate you. So I loved that. But unfortunately the boob part was just much too small. It wasn't holding my boobs in place- it was just flattening them against my chest. Which looked ridiculous both with and without a shirt. So I'm gonna try re-ordering, but a size up from recommended. And I'll see if that fits better. But I have a sneaking suspicion the band will be much too large if I do so... So long story short, my biggest gripe is the material. Why mesh? It doesn't stretch worth a damn, and it's just... not cozy.

34GG provides coverage, not support
Hello ladies and any men shopping for their ladies. I am on the larger side, a 34GG in other freya bras. I am very loyal to the freya brand because it provides the support I need in a stylish design. I have been hunting for a bralette for months now because I want to wear strappy tasks tops this summer. During this hunt, I have accumulated about 15 and the freya is the most recent. And it is one of the best! I read a few reviews starting that it does not provide support and I have to agree, it does not. It was not designed to. So if you are looking for a bra that provides shape, support or lift, this is not the bra for you. However, if you are looking for a bra that is cute, lacy and provides lite coverage under summer tank tops, this one will do the job. Whenever I want something cute and lacy under my tank tops but also need some support, I layer a strapless bra under this bralette. For many of you, this may seem counterproductive but for those of us with a large bust, a strapless bra just doesn't do the job. But layering them will give you the desired effect. One last note, if you do not have a large bust, there are much cheaper and cuter bralettes on the market, so I think you should shop around.

Just don't--traditional bralettes don't work if you're this big in the boobs. Had high hopes, but it's not gonna play.
Ok. I'm a 36FF, pendulous, with back pain, and REALLY wanted this to work. It was on sale with free returns so I said "why not," and bought a large. The large fit fine (in the general sense), although it hit at my back bone/shoulder blades in a pretty uncomfortable way. There's basically no support; I wasn't shocked by that--was just looking for something to lounge in. This is a true bralette. And as a true bralette, that's the failure for the sizes it is offered in. It is just a concept that will not work without some modification for someone with breasts as large as an FF cup. ESPECIALLY if you're pendulous. 1. The band is just a stretchy fabric: it needs to have some sort of firmness/elasticity beyond what I'll call "elasticized lace." Anything more than getting off the couch (e.g., doing dishes, lifting something over your head) and it pops up, over my boobs. Not cool. 2. Because there is no support at the band, ALL of the weight is on the very thin straps--i.e., your shoulders. So it's not only not supportive, it's not comfortable (especially considering where it hit in the back--for me at least). Overall, the only use I could see for this is an intimate overnight. But heed the caution about it popping up: not a sexy look in bed. All in all, I just don't think the bralette thing can work for anyone who needs meaningful support. I'd suggest an Anita, other wirefree low/med impact sports bra, or Bali Double Support for a comfort bra around the house.

I can't wear something like this as an everyday bra anyway so let's just ...
I can never find a bralette that fits. I am a natural 34 DDD/E. Amazingly, the M just about fits. I am going to order a L to see the difference. I can't wear something like this as an everyday bra anyway so let's just say my boyfriend didn't mind that I was spilling out of the top a bit. The side profile is not very flattering, but again--as large as I am I don't expect something like this to work for all situations. Gives a nice effect with cleavage. I'm just super pleased to find a bralette I can wear when the lingerie is for show, not function.

28/FF
I have been on a quest for the bralette that would fit my small waist and large bust. After reading various reviews, I decided to go with this one in Medium. It is too large on the band and rides up awkwardly in the back. It covers my breasts, but does not support them...not even a little bit ( yes, bralettes are not supposed to be). It is more of a sheer mesh material and a lot thinner than expected. However, it is still very beautiful...just not for my kind of boobs. Maybe I'll try and get it taken in on the waist....

Love that it isn’t so tight on my rib cage.
I wear these all the time and love them! Not for you if you like a lot of support. But a great option for post breast reduction when you don’t want to wear wires and they look pretty.

Finally I found a bralette for a 28G!!!
This is amazing!! My size is a 28G and I was tired of wearing wired tight bras all the time ( I do LOVE Freya deco bras but they need to be snug) I was looking for something to just wear around the house and I finally found something! Medium was perfect. It was a bit loose around the band but no complaint here! People are complaining about no support but it's not suppose to give support. If you want something cute and compfy definitely pick this up!! ( Coming from Steve's girlfriend)

I have loved this brand when I had to buy the wire ...
I had a breast reduction and wanted some support without wires. I have loved this brand when I had to buy the wire ones and really like this brand. This bralette looks good on and provides support. It is so comfortable that I even fell asleep in it which never happens in my wire bras!

Pretty and fit well, shame about the material
This is a nice bralette, provides reasonable support for a medium sized bust. It's a shame the material is so synthetic, I live in a very warm climate and the material is scratchy and sweaty... would have loved it if it was in cotton. Colour was pretty and I like the thin straps.
