Great darts but the painted grip lacks durability

The texture is great out of the box but normal use smoothed it out quickly. It also chips off quite easily when the dart occasionally hits the floor as they do

Was wishing the gorilla grip had a little sharper points. My trade causes heavy calluses and is hard to feel the darts. Still think they are the best in my situation.

Grippy and High-Performing

Dear Amazon Shopper, There's a lot to like about these darts. They're aggressively textured, ensuring that even with a delicate grip, the darts will stick with you all the way through your throwing motion. The movable point is something that Bottelsen has hammered down (pun intended) quite nicely, with a solid throw burrowing into the dartboard like a tick. The darts come in a nice case, are securely packaged, and even sport an extra set of reasonably durable flights. The darts are further pleasant in appearance and throw very naturally. There is, however, one caveat: my sense is that the weighting differs more than one might expect. Now, I'm by no means a professional dart player, but I've noticed that I group a shade less consistently with these darts than with most others. For example, my less expensive set of Winmau Ted Hankeys will land one next to the other without fail, while these seem to open up under similar conditions. That being said, I'm not confident enough that this is any fault of the darts (rather than my inability to throw them) to ding them a star, but I will say that if you're looking for a set that's guaranteed to be match-weighted, I don't know that these are the best option. Bottom line, these are great, grippy darts that are pretty accurate and very fun to throw. Thank you.

Great darts but disappointed :(

Hello every one. This is my first set of hight dollar high quality darts. I was so excited to get them. These are amazing darts with tons of grip and very well made. That's pros here are the cons.... In the description of the darts it says.. Hammer Head Spinning Shaft with O-Ring and Logo Flight.. Well, it does not come with Spinning Shafts. What a bummer. False advertising if you ask me. And the flights are big and wide so it's hard to get the close without changing themy out for better ones. For these reasons I'm giving them a four. But all and all these are very nice darts.

Hammerheads RULE

I've been using Hammerhead darts for almost 40 years. Not sure if they are all related, but the newest ones I've ordered are better than the ones I've used in the past as the shafts have been improved from a grip standpoint. Would recommend these darts as a replacement/upgrade to any existing set of Hammerhead darts, as well as for anyone who relies on their darts staying "attached" to the dart board following round of throwing.

Good

Initial Review 1 Month Pros: These darts stick into the dart board better than normal steel tips. (They still bounce out sometimes) the weight is nice. Cons: The shafts and tips unscrew often and require constant tightening. The case is not something I ever would have choosen as I don't care for snake skin. The inside of the case is decent construction. I feel like thentops may seize up at some point if not properly cared for.

Love these darts, but...

These darts are great to throw they are easy to hold without gripping. They are consistent and go where I place them. Here's the but, if you have a habit in putting the darts in a tight group you will eat up the flights in no time flat, one game of darts and I was replacing my skinny flights. I will have to use them in a different game like Killer or something. I do enjoy throwing them overall, but I like heavy darts.

My third set of Hammerhead darts

This is my third set of Bottelsen Hammer Heads, bought my first set used. Then a set of GTZ's, I simply have a difficult time finding accoutrements for that particular series. Now, this one, a bit more mainstream in styling and easier to find, shaft, O-rings and etc.
