Low quality dart that is way overpriced.

The weight match of these Devastators barrels was terrible - over .7 grams apart from lightest to heaviest. The color isn't black as advertised - it's dark gray and the finish is so sloppy that it looks like a third grader did the painting. The rings on the back of the barrel are dull and the so called "gorilla grip" isn't grippy at all - I've seen better quality knurling on $7 brass barrels. Even if you replace the substandard flights and shafts that are provided, the darts still don't fly all that great. I really don't understand what the hype about Bottelsen is about. I've acquired much higher quality darts that flew better and had nicer finishes from Bulls, Harrows, Unicorn, One80, Designa, and Red Dragon for $20-$40 cheaper. For the exact same price as these Devastators, I've acquired darts from Shot, Mission and Dynasty that were light years superior. Bottelsen might of been decent a couple decades ago, but they haven't kept up with the times. If being made here in the USA is really important to you then spend an extra $10 to buy some Voks and you'll have a high quality item you can cherish for a long time rather than this overhyped garbage. The only thing devastating about the Devastators is how bad Bottelsen cashes in on people who are none the wiser and never take the time to look around at the many various dart shops online. I have no personal agenda against Bottelsen - I just don't like to see people get ripped off. I truly hope that someday soon Bottelsen will escape the dark ages, open their eyes and take a look at what the fine dart manufacturers are making these days, update their methods and machinery, tighten their quality control, price their stuff competitively and get back in the game.

Consistency is the name of the game.

Consistency is the name of the game. I've been coaching young dart players for years. I always talk about consistency and confidence on the throw line. I've shot 18 gram darts my entire career. I have taken my own advise to shot heavier darts to tighten my group. Shooting 20 gram darts requires more strength. As I grow with these darts my consistency has improved. They require a more relaxed throw. I recommend these darts to serious players. The barrels are very coarse and I find my grip to come easily. I look forward to improving with these Devastators. Be patient and find a comfortable approach. These darts will help you find the accuracy you are looking for. My first week of league my average improved to a 3.54 cricket MPR.

They're an exceptional set with a few drawbacks

I was expecting these to have a longer barrel. The groves on the rear really don't have much bite to them. The machined grip however feels like sandpaper. Didn't come with the flights in the picture. They where kite shaped with devistaor logo. Comes in a nice alligator skin display case. From the first throw I could tell I was satisfied with the purchase. By the third throw I was getting tight groups. I have a more expensive set of Shot darts that don't perform this we'll.

Look good

Don't have a soft tip board so I haven't thrown them yet. If they are like my other set of Devastators, they will be great.

My go-to darts!

My go-to darts for my league. Love the feel and and how these fly. Very accurate. I do recommend some better flights than what it comes standard with.

Great darts. Love throwing these. I can tell over time the black coating will fade but I'm not concerned
