So Far So Good!
I am in the process of replacing all my old rubber and Pvc hoses with Poly hoses and I recently received this one. If you have ever been in the situation where the weight of your air hose either drags your nail gun off the roof or just becomes a hassle to drag up and down a ladder or scaffolding, then you need these hoses. They are so light that you barely notice that it's there. I live in the south so the cold weather performance isn't an issue for me, but I can tell you that they are very flexible. The only complaint that I have is that when you roll it up it tends to want to twist. It may get better as it gets broken in.

Very easy to maneuver on a roof
Bought this hose for roofing jobs. Just completed my first job using this hose yesterday. Very easy to maneuver on a roof. It is so light you don't even realize it is attached to the nail gun. The only reason I gave it four stars instead of five is because it got tangled on itself. Maybe if I had a swivel coupler on my nail gun it wouldn't tangle. Other than that I love the hose! Much better than any other products I've tried.

Cheap replacement
was just looking for something replace the old & heavy 50ft rubber hose that I had been using for over 30 yr. Bought the Bostich because it cheap & got good reviews. It came tightly wound in a shrink wrapped package. Took awhile to unwind & straighten it out and it still knicks even when loosely wound. Best thing about the hose is it's light weight. Felt like a feather compared to my old hose. However, that's a negative too because the hose is easily damaged. Accidentally dropped my impact gun on the hose and it immediately caused a blow out. Fortunately, the damage wasn't too far down the hose and I only had to cut off a couple of feet and was able to reconnect the cut hose w/the provided compression fitting. The other "problem" was that the hose did not come with the smaller 1/4" fittings that were on my old hose. Fortunately, I had some larger fittings & adapters in my parts bag but if this is your 1st hose, you'll need to buy the larger fittings (think they're 3/8" in) thru Amazon or at your lical hardware store before you can use it. FWIW, I think that, although they're heavier, the rubber coated hoses are more durable and do not knick as easily as this one does. Found a 50 ft rubber coated hose made by Bostich for only $25 at Walmart which I prefer over this one.

BOSTITCH PRO-1450 ProzHoze 1/4-Inch x 50 Premium Polyurethane Air Hose
I've found this to be a very decent polyurethane air hose at a really good price. It said made in the USA on the package, which was a pleasant surprise, especially considering that I paid under fifteen dollars for it at the time here on Amazon. This 1/4" X 50' yellow poly hose is rated at 300PSI and has flexible black rubber strain relief/abrasion guards on both ends. It's super flexible even in cold weather and is a lot lighter and easier to use with my nailers and staplers than the regular Goodyear 3/8" rubber hoses I'm used to, but still gives adequate flow when using my blowgun even at 100PSI or more. The hose lays flat on the floor without any curling when unrolled and also coils back up easily. Bostitch sells field repair kits so it can be quickly put back in service if the end fittings becomes damaged or develop a leak. I think the hose is well made, so would definitely buy again.

I'm a convert
I had my doubts, but now I'm a believer for certain. The light weight ease of using this hose has been a huge labor saver on the job. From trailing ten feet to the floor from a ladder to being dragged around a cramped crawl space, this hose's feathery light weight is a revelation. It's been walked on, rolled over and dragged around sharp corners with no visible damage. I admit to being a bit more careful with it than with traditional heavy rubber hoses, but the more I use it the less worried I am. The only downside so far has been that it looks so much like a 14ga extension cord that I had to coil it and spray paint red spots to make it easily distinguishable, especially in low light conditions. --Now a few months in, I've ordered more. I sure could have used this 30 years ago! Love it!

Not like the older ones
This hose is a disappointment. I've had two previous versions of the (supposedly) identical hose in the past, and have been very pleased with the older versions. This newer version, however, is terrible because the hose never relaxes. It's too stiff and won't lie flat, and won't coil, and won't anything, even after several months. Very disappointing and basically unusable for me. (I replaced it with a Hitachi 50' plastic air hose that actually works the way I expected). I gave this three stars only because the hose works fine for what it is, and its lack of flexibility and inability to coil or lay flat might not be an issue in some applications, but really I hate the thing and I've relegated it to permanent storage for "emergency" use. Really a useless hose for me. Sorry, Bostitch. You join the ever-increasing list of products that used to be good, but through cost-cutting or manufacturing measures has become untenable for me, at least.

Never stops curling up... EVER
Had read this is the preferred hose when roofing, compared to my old Goodyear rubber hoses I've used for years. I will say that it is very light weight... it almost feels as if there is no hose attached to the nail gun. And, the polyurethane material will slide across asphalt shingles instead of gripping onto them like rubber hoses do. I find ths important when the hose has to drape over a rake edge, as it does not stress the edge of the shingles nearly as much as a "grippy", heavier rubber hose. But, the fatal flaw is that after weeks of rolling it out straight and using it on roof work, it STILL will not stop curling up. It's extremely irritating, but I continue using it due to the two aforementioned advantages over rubber hose. But, do I recommend it? No... no, not really. The continual curling up is just too annoying.

Not a good hose
This is not the real Bostitch pro hose that I used to buy locally in store. This hose is very stiff and has lots of memory effect.I work everyday with air hoses and I know the difference between a good air hose and a bad one. All the other ones give good reviews, they must have gotten the real Bostitch air hose. I don't know what Amazon sold me. The only thing that looks the same as my other bostich air hoses that I have, is the printing on it. I do not recommend this hose for professional use.

Love it
There is absolutely no comparison between this and the rubber ones. This thing is really light, really flexible and pretty much indestructible. Hard to ask for more. It does NOT come with the quick fit connectors, look at picture carefully.

Great product
This product is of high quality and was delivered as described. The only issue for me is that the hose-end fittings are not suited to Australia and the couplings needed to be replaced with suitable Metric Nitto fittings.
