The bits went through stainless steel sheets like a hot knife through butter!
After destroying several standard carbide bits I purchased these bits and drill bit lube and using a slow speed on drill press cut holes effortlessly without heat hardening the stainless steel.

Excellent deal
I’m not sure why others are having issues with these. I smoked 6 new titanium bits trying to center drill some stainless bolts. These cobalt bits made short work of it. And the price? Excellent!

Great drill bits at a very reasonable price.
I highly recommend these drill bits. These cobalt drill bits are tough, solid and very reasonably priced. Other than specialized tungsten drill bits for machinery work, these ones will handle all your regular project with ease. They are tough and good for 98% of all the drill needed. I've uses some other high-priced drill bits and they cannot compare to this version.

Very nice bit! Great price!
Needed this to cut through 1/4” HSLA plat. Did a precise job. Best price anywhere. Delivered the next day - just when I needed it.

Just the right assortment in drill sizes.
Used for drilling pilot holes in wood studs through Sheetrock and larger holes through Sheetrock and metal studs. This set has lasted longer than others and included all the right sizes.

Does the job but not great
Bought one of these bits to replace a same-size broken Norseman Super Premium to drill into stainless steel. There's no comparison: the Norseman is simply far superior. The Bosch did eventually drill through the stainless, but it took about 3x longer than the Norseman.

Chipped 1/2” bit.
What is drilling on my drill press through quarter inch plate steel. Used quarter inch pilot hole drill bit at.1540 rpm went through like butter. Changed to half inch bit and on third hole the point on one wing chipped off. And yes, I was using cutting oil Speed was.780rpm. They say they are a bit more brittle with cobalt. I’m just hoping it was a defect. Amazon warranteed it by replacing the whole set. I have not used since time will tell thanks. Umpa

Wouldn't put a scratch on a masonry nail head
I bought these to drill off the tops of masonry nails with integrated washers that were used to fasten strips of aluminum that were used to support our downspouts. I wanted to save the strips so I could reuse them when I relocated the downspouts. Good quality HSS bits wouldn't touch the nails and using my 1970's Dremel with an abrasive bit was slow going and the Dremel was getting uncomfortably hot. I read about the cobalt bits and thought they'd definitely be the answer. Nope. Absolutely useless. I tried 3 or 4 sizes and as much weight as I dared to use and they didn't even leave a scratch so it was back to the Dremel, which eventually got the job done. I was dumbfounded given how useless the bits were given the sales pitch. The only reason I gave 2 stars was the bits did work very well on a Tapcon that had snapped off and had to be drilled out, although my regular bits might have worked--not sure on that one. Overall, very disappointing given the cobalt hype.

Best drill set to remove damaged or broken hardened steel bolts
This drill set saved the day. My wife’s BMW had a wheel lock bolt that was over torqued and when tried to remove , the tip of lug key broke and jammed in the head . I used a couple of wheel stud extracting tools to no avail. The BMW wheel stud keys are round and hardened steel making the job difficult. I tried drilling with HSS drill bits which were useless. After doing some research on drill bits I chose this drill set because of the hardened quality Cobalt M42 and affordable price. The ultimate hardened drills are carbide and not suitable for hand drilling as they are brittle and will break. These cobalt grade M42 drills drilled slowly through the stud head like butter. Started with 3/16” then 1/4” and finished with 1/2”. If it doesn’t say M42 Cobalt grade Don’t waste your money on anything else.

Excelentes
Hola!
