Better than most extractors on Amazon, but still requires finesse and patience.
I used this for extracting bolts out of an old outboard with many stripped/broken bolts corroded into the block/heads, so the primary use was extracting stainless steel bolts from aluminum. I pulled 2-3 bolts out with this and it worked pretty well. Remember that the fluted extractor should be turned with a wrench--not with a drill, otherwise you will likely immediately break the extractor. And you should use generous amounts of PB Blaster/Kroil. Eventually, I did over-abuse this kit and broke an extractor off in a bolt and broke two of the drill bits attempting to get the extractor out. The bolt was actually turning when the extractor broke, so I kept turning even though the resistance built up and it felt aggressive. These extractor kits all require finesse, but I expected a little more from Bosch. I used a dremel to grind the extractor tip out, then drilled out the bolt the rest of the way. So the tool did eventually break, but it lasted longer than the other cheap kits I've gotten on Amazon. Overall, the kit is good, and had I been a little more gentle, it probably would not have broken, but in the end, it is still a basic fluted extractor kit so fairly limited and requires a significant amount of finesse and patience. I'll probably buy another to replace the broken extractor since this is still the best kit for the money on Amazon. The only thing I would change about the kit is to have reverse bits. The included bits are standard clockwise bits, and I don't really like drilling out bolts/screws clockwise.

Decent build quality but lacked some in depth instructions
Ordered this product since I had screws completely rusted on my car. Opened the packaging and it came in this reusable housing which is amazing. The build quality was awesome and felt ridged. The bits also felt very sturdy. They ended up getting the job done very well and met my needs. On the on hand that's great but it took me a while to find a proper tutorial on how to safely and properly remove the screws with these tools. Would have been nice if the packaging had included a bit more in-depth removal instructions as the ones on the box weren't very useful. Overall a very ridged and well made product and besides the minor nitpick definitely worth its value.

drill bits are trash. the easy outs seem ok

Melted bolt came out with no problem.
I initially used incorrect bits to drill into the bolt, which created to much heat and melted the already broken bolt into the threading, the mess that was left over destroyed the cheap home depot extractors in a matter of minutes. Bought these in hopes of much higher quality along with the Bosch cobalt bits, and I was able to save the swing arm and thread in a matter of minutes. These instantly grabbed and with just a hand wrench I was able to easily extract the bolt.

High quality product that does exactly what you hoped it would do.
I purchased this item after after two failed attempts with other products. This item arrived and I put it to work. The drill bits are sharp and sturdy, they did not break under a slight load. The extraction tools bit into the product as expected and I was able to conduct the necessary repairs as hoped. I would recommend this product to anyone that is in need. One big feature for me is always having some form of case for my tools, this helps with storage and tracking. The case is sturdy and provides the extra touch that I like to have.

Mixed feelings...
I was looking to remove a bolt that had broken off. Instead of purchasing a single extractor, I decided to go with this set to add to my tools because it was Bosch, had multiple extractors and drill bits. The case and set were exactly what I was expecting. The drill bit was excellent, easily drilling into the bolt shaft. The #2 extractor went deeply into the drilled hole in the bolt shaft and bit in. Unfortunately, as many reviews have stated, the extractor broke off inside the bolt, relatively quickly and without too much torque being applied to it. I know that many people, including myself, have broken extractors because they did not drill deep enough. In this case, I thought I had gone deep enough. But, maybe I didn't. Another factor, was that I was trying to remove a steel bolt from the aluminum cylinder head on a 10 year old snow blower. After the extractor broke off, I tried to get the bolt shaft to turn out with, lubrication, heat and a punch and hammer. In the end, I had to buy a new head because the bolt shaft wasn't moving. So, it's very likely that the extractor didn't stand a chance in this situation. So far I've used other drill bits and they've performed as I would expect from Bosch. I have not had to use another extractor at this point, so I don't know about those. For now, I'll do some checking and see if I can replace the broken #2 to fill the set out again and hope for better results next time.

Got the job done when nothing else would...still broke though
Great tool very strong however I still managed to snap it on a stuck head bolt. It did however break the bolt free after trying everything else and letting some deep creep sit on it and hitting it with a chiesel a few time for a day or so

A little flimsy drill bits
Smaller bits are a bit flimsy, the 2 smaller ones, broke when trying to drill to extract a screw, other than that, no issues.

Drill bits are great, extractors terrible.
Broken the smallest two extractors on first use just turning them in manually. The drills bits though, really good at cleanly getting through steel without getting dull or chewing themselves up. The imperial drill bit sizes fit well within the threads of metric screws and bolts when centre punched right in the middle. Have liberated a couple snapped bolts and kept the threads intact for reuse.

Very poor product
One of the thick bits (1/4'') has broken immediately after I applied little effort. Extremely poor quality. This product is rubbish.

No use for snapped glow plug
First the square drive snapped off then I had to use an extractor on the extractor! And it snapped off leaving half in the glow plug.

Look well-made but didn't work for intended purpose.
Look like a quality item but I bought these to remove a snapped subframe bolt (steel bolt, aluminium subframe). They barely made a dent in it despite spending around 2 hours with a powerful drill, the standard right-handed Bosch drill bits made more progress. Wouldn't recommend based on this one experience, maybe I'll have better luck in the future?
