Beautiful Leather Carry Bag

This is very nice leather, and much bigger than I pictured as I hadn't looked at the dimensions. I'll now use it as a very nice looking travel bag as it could fit a week's worth of clothes!

Just beautiful. Real leather

Bought for my husband to use going to his Athletic Club. His old bag was old and tatered. This one is beautiful full grain leather. (smells great, too). It was worth the extra dollars compared to his previous bags.

Loving this bag

I was recently searching for a nice leather weekend bag and had been tossing around the idea of some of these no-name branded leather bags on Amazon. I almost pulled the trigger on one but then discovered Piel. After researching the brand a bit, I decided I'd probably be better of going with a manufacturer with some recognition and I'm really glad I did. The leather of this bag is nice and soft and looks like it will build a lot of character throughout it's life. I had purchased a David & Kind leather messenger a few months back and the leather was very thin. I was worried this might be the same but it certainly wasn't. Not only is the leather nice but there are a wide variety of pockets and for my recent 3 day trip, I easily found a suitable place for everything (multiple layers of clothes, books, tablet, toiletries, etc, etc). A good indication that this is a nice looking bag is when my buddy opened the tailgate of my BMW, saw the bag, and jokingly asked "did that come with the car?"

Forget the other bags, get this one first.

I ended up ordering 3 different Piel bags. Out of all of them this has the most versatile pockets and overall size. I returned the others. The front pocket holds my Kindle Fire and the side pockets, while juuuuuuust barely fitting my size 8 sneakers, are actually the largest of their duffel bag side pockets. The "Large Duffel" and the "Pocket Duffel" side pockets weren't even close to fitting small shoes. And this is also the most stylish (rugged, for a man) looking one as well. It is one inch shorter than the Large Duffel but for short trips, who cares. The Piel leather is absolutely luxurious and thick. My only complaint is the piping on this bag seems to be vinyl, so we shall see how long it goes before cracking occurs. It fits great in an overhead bin as well. I have not taken it on a commuter plane and they have small overhead bins so we shall see how it works on those Embraer turboprops. I would be loathe to gate check this bag and have it mishandled. The selection on these bags is bewildering but you won't be sorry if you start with this one.

Really beautiful leather

I bought this as a Xmas present for my son who frequents the gym pretty regularly but I had it delivered to my house so I could look at it first before I shipped it to him. When I opened the box I couldn't believe how beautiful it was. Exceptional leather quality and was packaged very very nicely. The smell of leather was not too strong, really just right. After I shipped it, of course my son called me when he opened it to tell me how much he loved it. I thought the price was fantastic for the leather bag. Highly recommend it !

feels very sturdy, and is a gorgeous travel bag

I ordered this bag last week, and was worried that it wouldn't come in time for my trip. Not only did it arrive a day BEFORE the earliest expected day, it also is just the most gorgeous bag. It has a ton of pockets, feels very sturdy, and is a gorgeous travel bag. I am so happy with it, and can't wait to use it on my trips this spring.
