Awesome Travel Bag
I was getting tired of paying the airline baggage fees and decided to get something that can work as both a back pack and duffel. Pros: - Roomier than it looks - Great for short stays (Depending on your packing habits) - Stylish - Good Workmanship - Material and construction seem solid Cons: - Smaller than I expected - Cannot be used for longer trips - Backpack Straps cannot be secured if you carry as a duffel Overall, this is a solid backpack/duffel. I use it for travel every month and it suits my needs. I typically travel from 2-5 days during a trip and if you restrict your packing to necessities. I have managed to elude the payment of baggage fees thus far. Saving me 10 times what I paid for the bag. So in that respect the bag has paid for itself. However, I am a light traveller by nature and many are not. This bag is for the spartan and while quite stylish, there is little room for error. I had expected the bag to be a bit larger but am still quite pleased with the purchase. It has an inside pocket that fits my laptop perfectly. The bag is well constructed and if it had one fault. The bottom I would have preferred to have some thing to protect the bag from wear and tear. It is functional and I have adapted it for my needs. Now most many not have considered this bag for travel but for short camping trips, day packing, etc which I think this would be great for. But my need nay have been not necessarily what this was designed for. It does appear to be waterproof and when packed fully fills out the bag. The bag has no real support inside so if you don't pack it complete it does droop for lack of a better word. The back pack straps are sturdy but not entirely comfortable and I find the I end up shifting shoulders on a long walk to the gate. But of course, that being said, you are carrying everything on your back and shoulders that you normally would carry in a suitcase. So I don't feel like it is a detractor as it can be 50 lbs or more fully packed. I have had mine for a bit longer than a year and it still looks like the day I bought it. I would definitely recommend this bag and would purchase it again. I love it and can't wait to use it next.

Good quality, poor design
I wanted to love it. Great quality bag with good storage space. But the straps are too narrow at the shoulders. Makes carrying in backpack mode very uncomfortable, especially for broad shouldered people. Unfortunately will be returning

Solid sturdy bag, my go-to bag for travel
It's finally been a few months since I bought this bag. Overall it is great quality and has held strong for a number of trips while showing no damage. The accessory pouches make it very convenient for quick access items you may want/need. The internal accessory pouches are great, especially the computer pouch if you have a laptop that fits. Computers: I've used two different laptops with this bag. One fit the computer pouch and one didn't. The computer that fit had dimensions of 20x10x2 (16in screen on old model), and it completely fills the computer pouch with a tight fit; 10 inches across is the max width you an probably pull off. My other computer is 16x12x1 (17in screen) and it's too wide to fit into the pouch. I place my larger computer in the main compartment and it does fine so long as I put softer items around it. Air Travel: It is my go-to carry on bag for flights. I've had it as my only bag for short trips (weekend or day), and it was with me for travel between the US and the Middle East both ways on two separate occasions. The dimensions put it slightly over the minimum size for my most commonly used airline, but I have never had any airline question its dimensions/size for carry on -- including one that was super strict about weight of carry on bags. Airlines I've used it with: Air France, Delta, Flydubai, Royal Dutch, Jet Blue, and Qatar Airways. Unless the bag is completely stuffed you won't hit the full dimensions, and I've had it completely stuffed for a few flights. Motorcycle Travel: I also used it as a backpack for a motorcycle trip I took from Salt Lake City to St George & back in Utah. The straps do get a little uncomfortable after about 75-100 miles of straight riding but it's not too bad. My bike didn't have cruise control so my wrist/forearm was more tired than my shoulders. If you have it full and no windshield it does cause some wind resistance once you get 80+ mph; I had zero issues with resistance at anything under 70 mph even with a slight headwind. I was riding on a cruiser, so you may get/feel more resistance from sport style bikes.

Great bag for a weekend travel
Pros: - Durable/heavy duty - more than enough pockets for accessories - great material - looks cool - great laptop compartment (plush) - backpack strap to traditional duffle strap - same size as carry on luggage, but treated like a personal item for flights Cons - interior little smaller than expected (BUT I stored 4 packing cubes, extra pair of shoes, small toiletry bag) - straps width at the top are narrow and a little uncomfortable if you have wider shoulders - awkward to hold as traditional duffle, but doable - can be heavy if storing a lot of gear

I love it and you will too
Great travel bag with sturdy construction and lots of ways to carry (backpack, top handle, side handle, strap handle). The laptop pocket easily handled two 15" laptops and I really like the "hidden" pockets. Pelican hasn't let me down yet and this bag is no exception. If you're looking for something with plenty of room for gear while also being easy to carry, this is it. Quality built.

Great weekend bag for a guy
It fits as a carry on, is well made, well engineered and thought out. I replaced a worn out duffle bag with this. I take one to two weekend trips a month and this should last me the next 25 years. I can fit combat boots, a military uniform, several changes of socks, underwear, and my hygiene bag, a computer, and charging cords with room to spare. I’d buy it again.

Es buena
Me gustó que es amplia y cabe perfectamente con maleta para llevarla arriba del avión, lo que no me gustó es que en las abrazaderas al meterle mucho peso se empieza a deshilar un poco pero si es resistente aún a eso. En cuestión a la impermeabilidad no ls he probado quizá estos días.
