Great deployment bag
This bag has been great for my deployment. It's a pretty roomy bag and is Great for TDY and Practice or implementation of ACE. will absolutely be buying another.

STURDY PACK.
PROS: I bought this bag several years ago as a camping pack. It has a huge capacity main compartment, made from super sturdy material, good strong zippers as I have over filled it and never had an issue with stitches ripping or the zipper busting. The zipper feature has a nice tuck away option at the head of the bag so you don't have a zipper tag knocking around the back of your neck / head. It also has great cushion pads to either tuck your duffle or backpack straps behind a velcro tear away.. I might also add this bag is super comfortable to kneel on when on tough terrain making it easy to set up a tent with out agitation.. The bag also features super sturdy side handles which can take A LOT of abuse.. I literally toss this bag around with those handles and it has stood the time of time. I really like the side pockets at the head and foot of the bag too, they are spacious for quick to get at items, however you don't want to put fragile items like a head lamp in there as those pockets are not reinforced to protect. CONS: The bag is not water proof, so if you are going to hike in a wet environment purchasing a rain fly will be an essential item. My only other comment would be the bag being a tactical deployment bag is missing Molle webbing on the exterior. Above all it would be nice to attached my med kit to the exterior of this bag as when you do need it your not trying to get into a pocket and find it when time counts the most. ENJOY!

Freaking great bag
After serving in the military, I have specific tastes in my equipment. I have also found out that it's ideal to handle an item before purchasing because sometime a picture doesn't convey poor-quality construction. After I took this out of the packaging and rummaged through it all, I was content. The bag is bigger than expected, about 34 x 14 x 14 inches or so. This is now my GO bag and I have it stuffed with my size 16 boots, sneakers, entrenching tool, camping stove, toilet paper, MREs, jerky, money, survival tent, etc etc etc etc. While it's crammed to the gills it has cross-straps and mongo zippers so I am very comfortable with it weighing as much as it does. I literally combined the contents of 2 smaller GO bags into this and threw the boots and campstove on top. Well, ok, I'm a careful packer, but you get the point. One of my favorite features about this bag is how the chest straps tuck under flaps with velcro when not in use and become invisible, leaving carry handles which are very sturdily attached. I yanked on them for a bit to make sure. Since I have ammo and propane in the bag, I don't want the handles tearing off. There's an internal document pouch made out of clear plastic with a velcro folding seal, looks completely waterproof. There are big carry handles on each end so you and your buddy can carry a body or several gold bars between you. With this on my back and my various weapons distributed about my body, I can hardly wait for the zombie attack to begin so I can be the last (living) guy on earth. 2013 UPDATE: Update: Returned from my UK trip somewhat disappointed. I've put this bag through a lot of abuse but what I could not do, baggage handlers did over the course of just FOUR flights. There are / were 8 small rubberized floor bumpers on the bottom of the bag when I left. I returned home with only 4 remaining, 2 exposed screw heads and 2 jagged holes about the size of a quarter where the others had been totally torn away. I'd pay cash to know what the baggage handlers were doing on the days when they were loading my bag. UTG would do better to avoid these and instead double the thickness of the material on the bottom and add some other puncture-proof reinforcing for the times when a fully-loaded bag is dropped on rocky ground. I still recommend this as a purchase because I've now had it for several years and put it through a lot of abuse. However, my version of abuse (which includes blowing s*** up) is obviously nowhere near anything a baggage handler can do.

What I was looking for
I have this bag loaded up with camping gear i.e. Coleman oil stove, oil lantern and oil to burn, first aid supplies, hand tools, the biggest Fiskars axe, and it holds it all and then some. As others have mentioned it is made very well and should hold up and last a long time. Some have mentioned losing some of the small plastic round feet on the bottom and I can see how that could happen. They stick out just enough and could catch on something and be ripped off. I have used shoe goo around the feet to help lock them to the bag material and try and keep them in place. We'll see how that goes with use and time. A shoulder strap would help with carrying it over one shoulder if the need was there for that. The straps that help cinch it up tight after being packed up do a good job of making the bag firm and not sloppy to carry as a back pack. As a gear bag it's for carrying so no wheels or pull handles come with this bag which is why I bought this bag. I didn't want a bag with those options and preferred a carry bag like this one. If you need wheels and a pull handle don't buy this bag. I really like the digital camo design on this bag. My co-worker was very pleased with it when he inspected it and also commented on how much he liked the camo design. He was also surprised at how well made this bag is and it's large size and is now ordering himself one after looking at this one. As with about any kind of carry bags you can come up with other options you think a bag should have on it but for what this bag offers it was well worth the money in my opinion and I'm happy with it. I would recommend it to others who are looking for a heavy duty gear bag who would feel comfortable carrying it by the handle or wearing it as a back pack. I'm happy with it!

Great product! The fabric is durable and well stitched
Great product! The fabric is durable and well stitched. Two zippered compartments and two zippered compartments on the outside of the main compartment. The main compartment has a document pouch which is sealed via Velcro. Ideal for carry a lot of goods in one reliable package. Product has shoulder straps for back-carry as well has hand-straps for hand-carry.

Great bag
I use this for my snowboard gear bag, and it works admirably. It holds so much stuff that I hope there isn't a day when I have to use it as a backpack. The stitching has held up great and I don't see any weaknesses yet. I'm very happy with the value.
