Perfect!
I takes 3 thermos's to work. One water and two coffees. Very convenient for me!

Works for me...
This bag serves the primary purpose I purchased it for and that was to use it to store my tablet, phone, headphones, a couple of magazines, travel documents, a few minature bottles of booze, brush and comb, and a snack or two while traveling. The bag is very sturdy and supports the weight of all those things without the bottom sagging. The large compartment holds all the things I need without being cramped but not too loose either. The smaller compartment holds keys, phone, change, pen without any issues, although it would be nice if it had pen slots, business card size slots, etc. sewn into it. The other really small pocket is good for gum, and works well to throw your smartphone in real quick when going through security at the airport. Overall I'm pleased with the bag. I wish it had a zippered documents pocket on the back like another bag I have, but I managed without it. And, it would be cool if the large compartment had it least one interior slot pocket for papers. The cell phone pocket on the strap isn't big enough for a smartphone at least not my HTC Evo. So, I put my keys in it. The bag fits easily under an airplane seat without taking up too much foot space. It worked well for me. I would have given it 5 stars but I wasn't impressed with the look of the bag that much and because i think it could use some minor tweaking. BTW, I use a keyboard with my tablet so it actually ends up being about the size of a small laptop. I also have it in a nice cover that adds to it's size and weight. This bag is large enough and sturdy enough to carry and support a small laptop as well.

Not a heavy bag, but a very good medium/light duty bag
I bought this bag to carry meat cutting knives for my work. I fit my biggest knife, a 12 inch bladed curved meat well, albeit tightly. I read reviews about it not being sturdy. If your objective is to carry a bunch of books, this bag isn't designed for a lot of weight, you probably need to buy something else. If, however, you'd like something to carry a bit of food and water for a day hike, this is a great bag for something like that. 6/20 update: I've had the bag for almost two years and it's held up very nicely for its age. I've carried it daily for all of that time and it recently has shown enough wear and tear to replace. It was a great bag for LIGHT DUTY ONLY. If you're looking for something to carry more than five or ten pounds I wouldn't recommend it; aside from light work equipment and diabetes & first aid supplies, but nothing really heavy. It's held up very well for its stated purpose. While I'm on the market for a new bag, the main reason I'm probably going to buy something else is that it's hard to keep things organized as it's essentially two pockets and not much else, great if you're only carrying a few things, not so for more.

Looks good, could be better
The bag is a really nice, simple design. It was exactly what the kiddo wanted as far as color and how it is worn cross body. The biggest flaw was the manufacturing. The item did not last a full school year, nor did it last a full semester. It is probably best for light weight items and small travel. I would not recommend as a school backpack or for outdoor activity as it’s pockets began to come undone at the seams and the netted pockets ripped shortly after its first use. We got 1 school year use out of it with periodic repairs. Again great product for light use, just wasn’t durable enough for my kiddo.

Poor Workmanship; The backpack shoulder strap fell apart.
The backpack is nice looking and worked well for the first few times I used it, which was every three days or so - with light use only, carrying very little inside, wearing it for only a couple of hours when used. In about 6 weeks of such light use the across the shoulder strap just came undone. That is, the nylon lining on the inside of the strap pulled out from under its stitching, revealing it was cut too narrow and was never well beneath the stitching in the first place. Reasonably good materials but shoddy construction. With very little use and wear, the inner side of the shoulder strap just came undone, pulling away from the stitching and revealing the plastic padding inside and soon it will all just fall apart as the inner nylon lining comes unstitched all the way down one side of the strap. Look to another product if you are looking for even just moderate durability. Again, the problem is shoddy construciton - the inner strap lining barely reaching underneath the stitched seam, which is why it pulled away from the stitched seam with little use. In followup: Everest, the manufacturer, has a good warranty for USA buyers. However, "good" in this case isn't good enough. Everest told me to return the backpack to them at my shipping expense, and also include $9.50 in payment with the return and they will repair or replace the defective backpack at their option. Given the price I paid here, this comes to essentially the price I paid for the backpack, delivered (free shipping as an Amazon Primier member). This means that it is better for to buy a new backpack, since this guaranteed I get a new backpack instead of a repaired backpack, risking repair of an already defective product. The purchase cost is within pennies of the cost of warranty return. If the product had cost more, then the warranty return option would be viable, of course. Will I buy another backpack? I'm thinking about it but probably not. The backpack materials are high quality but the construction of the backpack shoulder strap was amazingly shoddy. The inner shoulder strap nylon liner was cut way too narrow and the stitching holding in place barely touched the fringe edge of the inner lining, which is why it pulled out and away from stitching down the stitching line, because the stitching did not actually stitch through the shoulder strap inner lining.

It's a great, very good value, sling!
This Everest sling is fabulous!! I bought this to replace another brand sling as I needed a little larger one. I use it when traveling for going through customs, etc. to carry papers and essentials. But at the destinations, I use this sling to tuck away my camera and lens when I am in restaurants, etc. But here is the point: I'm a pro photographer and do a lot of bird photography. I can put my Canon 6D DSLR camera with a large Canon 400mm lens mounted, completely inside, easily. Because there is no padding, I always have a few pieces of camera bag protective pads to help out! I have machine-washed this sling several times (so it is much nicer to use!).

Well made, highly functional
Compact, but good enough useable space and features. Seems to be well stitched, no obvious weaknesses in the seams. Comfortable enough when worn as intended. Bought on sale for $15, so little risk involved and thankfully none encountered. My personal issue is that the sling is not uni-directional (or neutral centred, for wearing either side) and designed to be worn on right shoulder and slung under left side. Odd person that I am, I'm more comfortable worn the other way, and it's impossible to wear this that way as the main pouch won't sit flush centered on your back. Some sling bags can also be worn over one shoulder and still slung on same side (like a backpack or purse) but the angle of this strap and the connection to the pouch also means this is not really possible. That's on me, had I looked more closely at the photos I would have seen the angle - it shows it rightward leaning for right shoulder use. Thankfully, my other family members find it perfectly fine and so they can still get good use out of it!

Poor Quality - Stitching Failed After 1 Day of Use
The bag is comfortable and the perfect size for a daily carry. Unfortunately, the stitching on the shoulder strap did not even last a day and the bag already started to fall apart. Horrible quality - DO NOT BUY.
